June 23, 20232 yr And this is the version that shows up after I disabled the flightsim.to version. Yet another version. Apparently, a 4th version? Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

June 23, 20232 yr The 4th and last one I posted above? It must be the default scenery since I don't have ORBX and have uninstalled the free one that I downloaded from flightsim.to. However, @Flying-Hare has a picture above of another free KMRY version. So that makes 4 current versions for KMRY: 1. Free one I have (the last one I posted above which is from MSFS Deluxe on Steam) 2. Free one from flightsim.to 3. Free one shown by @Flying-Hare also above (page 1 in this message thread), and the 4. Orbx payware which was also posted by @Flying-Hare above Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. June 27, 20232 yr I installed the one linked in the original post. While it's pretty to look at it's absolutely treacherous in terms of performance. This little airport is drastically worse than KLAX/IKFJK/KORD. It's so bad a few animated peoples run at about 2 FPS (the whole sim I'm pretty much limited to 31fps due to massive main thread impact), so I'll be removing this. Is there something else for KMRY? I know the airport and had it in P3D from Orbx I think. Ah, I see there is reference to another option or two. The one Orbx did looks great and is only $12 I think I'll do it cheers Edited June 27, 20232 yr by Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. June 27, 20232 yr Looking at some photos of the actual airport, the tower certainly does not look like the one in this scenery. As you can see in the screenshot @bofhlusr posted above, the tower is from the default scenery, the addon scenery didn't have it. Looks like a recent sim update broke the addon scenery and the dev didn't fix it yet and it is now showing the default scenery tower. They are talking about that in the comments on .to. June 27, 20232 yr Orbx is having a sale. I bought the KMRY airport. Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

How is the Orbx one - apparently it is from a developer Beautiful Model of the world (very long name for a developer). I can't believe original Jarrad's Orbx KMRY hasn't ported over. June 27, 20232 yr BMW's/Orbx KMRY scenery is better than the others. The control tower is good compared to the MSFS default, and unlike the freeware in flightsim.to it does not have papi lights in the middle of the runway at the end of Runway 10R. Generally, the scenery is well worth the sale price. I had all of Jarrad's scenery in P3D, and I too am hoping he'd make sceneries for MSFS also. The freeware one unfortunately was over the top with a rediculously high impact, at least for this CPU and vis a vis other very complex airports in big cities. Perhaps its dev will improve and declutter.
