Every time I download the latest version - when copying the file to Community - so many "problems" pop up with long

names etc - and if I ignore them - I assume I am missing something  in the install - and I never get it to work properly

How does you and everyone else cover this problem ??

Try using the Addons Linker... that should take care of it 🙂

Lastly, the graphics are better and the the gauge is much more responsive.

in which one?

AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090,  Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler.

Hello,

I have 2 questions please,

I am using the PMS50 "WTT" with the carenado mooney. When I use direct to and choose the nearest airport I do not see a magenta line displayed on the map but the airplane navigates to the airport. Is this normal ?

Second question, when I use direct to while flying and choose an airport I am not able to activate an arrival. Is possible to do this without selecting an origin and a destination ?

Beat regards,

Sorry, for the second question I found the answer in the Documentation:

"The sim currently removes the entire flight plan (except origin) if you issue a direct To an airport. If you didn't set an origin to your flight plan you will not be able to set an approach to an airport while in direct to it. Anyway, it is advise to always set an origin in your flight plan, so first to do that when starting the GPS if there is no origin."

But still I need help with When I use direct to and choose the nearest airport I do not see a magenta line displayed on the map but the airplane navigates to the airport. Is this normal

I am using the WT G1000NXi in the default aircraft fleet and I read that I should only use the 750 with the default G1000. It looks like my only option for the 750 is to purchase one of the supported aircraft as per their home page. Is that correct? Or am I misreading the various options in the home page?

Regards...kenny.

My understanding is that if you use any aircraft that uses the WT G1000NXI do not put this mod in the community folder.

You do not need to purchase any of the supported aircrafts unless you want the instrument placed in the cockpit panel.

You can use it on any aircraft with steam gauges by selecting the instrument from the in game panel menu.

On the TDS.  It's more realistic overall.

I have the Carenado Seminole - my only GA twin add-on for MFS.

Would love to add such a GTS/N. What would you suggest, and please, can you point me into some simple tutorial / youtube on how to incorporate it into the Seminole panel ?

Also, @Bert Pieke, can you point me to a good youtube of a full LPV approach using this equipment in MFS ?

Thank you guys !

It's not quite out yet.  Just flight's Pipers have the ability but I think TDS is just waiting for them to publish their update.  If you catch Flysimware streaming sometimes they show the TDS GTN approach with LPV glide path on their not yet released C414.

Since the lpv glide path is a model specific thing it must be written by the aircraft developer.  Some of the variables that used to be accessible in prior sim versions are not yet accessible in MSFS - which is why the 2d popup isn't showing lpv glide path.

It takes a little custom coding, but the TDS GTNXi will drive the HSI glidepath indicator.

So we just need PMS50 to release the GTN650 and PMDG to adopt it, to get a DC-6 capable of RNAV approach? Sound both cool and weird at the same time

They have a discord channel - the main dev is usually streaming around 0400z for a few hours https://discord.gg/rjwdUyfy

You set up a simple folder, like D:\MSFSaddons and copy your addon folders there.

No need to copy anything to the Community folder, ever..

For the Seminole, as shown in my original screenshot, the PMS unit is the one (for now).

1. Go to the PMS50 web site and get a copy of the free GTN 750 and the Seminole WTT mod.

2. Install both, using the addons linker.

3. In the Seminole, reach for the tablet in the map pocket, and select the GTN 750.

That is it 🙂
