Great! Per the YT video comments, looks like Dutch confirmed that the new prop physics/modelling introduced in SU8 is being used?

Correct, we've been working with the new prop physics since they became available in the SU8 beta.

Was my favorite a/c to fly IRL and I loved the P3D version. I am so looking forward to this one.

RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti
40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

All I want is a model with the original Cessna radio stack setup & the original autopilot - I live in hope - also from somebody with a lot of hours in the C310 - just loved every minute of it - not like the narrow gutted Baron - the Baron may have been a tad faster but you could really spread out in the 310 & bung your nav bag between the front seats

I must have been living under a rock but I didn't know this particular add on and I absolutely love what I am seeing in that video: the owned mode (!!!), the realism options, the failures... and you can even fly it without GPS (VOR to VOR)...! You certainly got my attention!!!

Only thing that's worrying me a bit are the graphics: may be it's because of the rather low res video (even at 1080p) but things seem a bit flat and bland...? A bit P3D-like? I can't see any real reflections and so on. But I am only 15 minutes into the video. I do presume all graphics are full MSFS quality...

We seem to have the same taste: old-fashioned radios and consequences for your actions or inactions. I had the great pleasure to be a beta tester for this airplane. The owned mode is just incredible, I have never paid so much attention to every detail during shutdown 🙂 . And the random failures are fantastic as well. There is lots of small things like the circuit breaker of the heater popping out, keeping your pax freezing. My favourite failure so far was a "down, two green" approach. I was on short final in VR, so no quick change to external view. I did a go-around, tested the three green lamps, concluded that one lamp was faulty, and then landed safely. The graphics look very good to me.

You are going to love this airplane.

You "HAD the great pleasure to be a beta tester for this airplane"??... Mmmmm... had... 🤔😀😀

OK, bad wording. I still have 😄

Dutch will likely tell you much more than "not much longer". We testers don't know either.

Okay, I am a bit further into the video and yes, you have my money. This is the kind of realism/interaction/immersion I want from a GA!!! This will replace my Kodiak the day it will be released. Awesome. The 'owned' feature alone sold me already but together with all the realism options... great stuff! At last a plane you really have to (and can!) take care off! Can't wait! (Any ideas what this one might cost?)

We won't release until we feel it's ready.  That's a judgement call, and I don't have an exact answer for you.

We don't schedule release dates at Milviz.  We work until it's done and we still have a few tweaks to the flight model, and I suspect the testers will keep finding some more bugs ... although the bug report stream is slowing and the bugs are getting more esoteric, all signs of a product nearing release.

Not much longer now is alI I can say.

That works for me Charles! thanks for the great work, looks like an amazing product and the video was really good too!

Do you think we may get a variant with the TDS GTN?

Can't wait to get into this baby in VR!

I find it particularly enjoyable in VR. As with other airplanes, you have much more immersion, a sense of being in the airplane. When you add to that the new "owned" mode, where you have to actually pay attention to details in order to stay in the air, you get an experience that is second to none.

The only way this could become more real is if you get an electric shock every time you crash with the airplane. However, as far as I know, Milviz is not planning to add that 😄

A neat feature would be that as things break or wear out on the aircraft, when you have them repaired it would apply a charge, equivalent to a small fraction of the RL cost, to your PayPal account which goes to MilviZ. This would further enhance the immersion level and satisfy those craving true realism, particularly for the "owned" mode where cheapskates would make the hard choice of flying with broken parts when they cant bring themselves to foot the repair bill.  And owners will indeed fly quite gingerly I expect.  If its a rental... fly it like you stole it (but beware!)

Are there any plans to  bring similar ownership and failure modes to the PC-6 in it's final version ?
