I've not heard of this one before.

Forty years ago, a TV broadcast was taken over by what claimed to be an alien intelligence. The mystery has never been solved

The time for conflict is now past and the race of which you are a part may proceed to the higher stages of its evolution if you show yourselves worthy to do this. Most of us that are sensible will regard this as an obvious hoax but the question remains, how on earth did whoever was responsible for this hack into a live TV broadcast and take it over for a full six minuets. 

 

I  like the message though, be one with nature and look after the planet. Cats agree. 😺

As I do with practically everything that’s on mainstream legacy media nowadays.

The thing that occurs to me is...

if a benevolent alien race wanted to send us such a profound, such an important message, then why would they send it to just a TV channel in the south of England for 6 minutes? 😃 One would think that the entire world would be their target audience.

It was regarded as a hoax at the time. As per the title of the article, namely "alien voice hoax".

Besides, the vast majority of us in the UK know that the Feline Galactic Council are the real alien mega beings.

I think who delivered this message is of less importance than it's content. It's still very important, good and accurate advise.
Funny and telling how we all focus on who did this, instead of what it's trying to tell us.

At that time, the Hannington television transmitter was unusual in being one of the few main transmitters which rebroadcast an off-air signal received from another transmitter, the Independent Broadcasting Authority's (IBA) Rowridge transmitter on the Isle of Wight, rather than being fed directly by a landline. Sounds reasonable. Although why he/she/ them would go to so much trouble is the question. Must say something about human psychology. 

The biggest giveaway that it was a hoax, is the fact that the 'aliens' mention 'the Age of Aquarius', which is an entirely Earthbound hippy astrological concept of course; something which would mean absolutely nothing to them. Apart from that, everyone knows it was Xenu (TM) who used to rule the Earth, until he was put in that Galactic prison.
