April 2, 20224 yr Personally for me this is a very good AddOn for a Concorde, at least we have one for MSFS, definitely for this price. And we get updates that make the DC Concorde better and better with every update - i hope 🤗 cheers 😉 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
April 2, 20224 yr Commercial Member Yes, this is the start of the DC Designs Concorde journey, not the end. Like all of my products, it will be updated and improved regularly, there is so much potential for it to be better. First update out in a week or so's time to fix a few minor bugs, then I will plan a bigger update to start improving texture art and details in systems and controls.

Initially I didnt want to buy it because I usually only do max 1.5h/2h flights and thought the complexity of Concorde is too cumbersome. I watched a video on youtube and got this nostalgia ( I grew up in the 80s , seen Concorde at LHR many times in real life on the ramp) was never rich enough to fly it sadly. My first memory of Concorde was when Phil Collins flew from London to JFK during live Aid in 1985...and perfumed both venues... just wow at the time...what a time to be alive!! So DC thanks for this its more then just the systems for me, its reminds me of times that were amazing. 7900x3d , 64gb 6200mhz 30CL Ram, RTX 3080
April 2, 20224 yr I was on the fence with Concorde at first, but happy to say i am really enjoying it. For the price, systems simulated for that price, plus an ongoing commitment to bring further improvements can only be commended. Did you see or hear/know that the gates and gatecars are fitting the doors not perfect, i see it most the time to high on the front door... You still see the open doors under the Gates and on the left side the opening door show true the front gatespart.. cheers 😉 Edited April 2, 20224 yr by pmplayer 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
April 2, 20224 yr Is it possible to save the flight, then recover whole aircraft status on reload, with exact remaining fuel, all systems ... ? Does someone has a tip when flying with VR headset to go to ING panel (without physically moving my body there)? Where can we compute the fuel requirement for a planned flight? April 2, 20224 yr Author In to the Blue's review of Concorde, he made one statement which I think is quite telling, he said the DC Concorde is not study level, but if it was, very few people would be able to fly it, as it took a very experienced airline pilot six months to learn how to fly the Concorde. DC Designs by producing a non study level aircraft that is flyable by the average simmer, will probably sell far more copies than if it was study level, that most would struggle to operate and costing a lot more money Asus Maximus Hero X11, Intel i9 10850k, 32gb Corsair Dominator ram, 2tb Corsair mp510 ssd m2, Gigybyte turbo RTX 3090
April 2, 20224 yr Stupid question: does the DC Concorde cope with 2x or even 4x sim rates? Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

That's a bad excuse, tell the many users of the FSL Concorde about it. It's more like "very few people would buy it without flooding all support channels afterwards with 'This doesn't work, it's broken!?" or more like "very few people would buy it". That's a legitimate opinion, but I'd rather have the devs say it how it is, instead of telling reasons why it's not as deep as other airplanes. The whole thread is full of "if we had put more work in it, everyone would be confused/overwhelmed" - they even said that was the reason for why their checklists are rather basic.... This attitude by DC Design is probably the only thing that kept me from buying this Concorde. Such an attitude doesn't bode well with the hopes of system improvements in the future. The product itself however, I must say, is better than I thought and a good purchase for that price, in my opinion. You probably mean the server downloads; those are no problem in my experience, there's enough room for higher download speeds. Only PG cities could get problematic, but they are probably not shown at FL600... As for the speed: Well in P3D I usually use x4 for long haul at cruise, so every flight takes not much longer than about 3 hours. Having kids and work and stuff that's all I get every evening. So I can also understand that x2.5 is not enough for other people on long hauls. Edited April 2, 20224 yr by Fiorentoni For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. April 2, 20224 yr Moderator @Fiorentoni, yes, I meant download speed. I hardly ever fly at accelerated speeds. Being retired helps. Daytime flying only The only time I’ve done it is when a football match is going to start before I can land so I consider it legitimate to speed things up. Ray (Cheshire, England).
