I've flown with them on a number of occasions, though not through personal choice. A bleak experience each time. Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

May 18, 20224 yr Just completed a series of circuits around LDDU ( Dubrovnik / Croatia ) in the 737-700 148 single class pax version, and WOW to the overall performance, up to and including AUTOLAND ! It's really Great ! May 18, 20224 yr I have completed 2 short flights. Flight phases were good but on ground control is a bit strange, it was like shopping trolley on ground. Anyone experience this? Uygar Best Regards

Anyone experience this? Yes. It was one of the first things I noticed. It seems way too responsive, sort of like it's an ultralight and not an airliner with a max take-off weight of almost 70000kg. I tuned the rudder sensitivity settings, but even so it doesn't seem right. Could be an Asobo thing as others have commented on the poor ground handling in various aircraft. May 18, 20224 yr I believe PMDG is not using other than the default ASOBO ground model, and that one still has it's quirks. But ASOBO already said they're revisiting ground physics when the opportunity arrives. May 18, 20224 yr Yeah the hype is true. I've had all the 737 series, the 777, 747 for fsx and P3D. Their planes always bring me back to the love of sim flying. Ryzen 7 5800x, 64gb, 7900XTX 24gb
May 18, 20224 yr Well all I can say is that I'm absolutely getting better performance, better visuals, and an all around better flying experience than I ever did in FSX or P3D. I doubt that I will ever use either one of those ever again. They were great in their day, but the torch must be passed. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
May 20, 20224 yr I thought there was going to be an update patch by the end of this week? Doesn't look like it now,

The performance! Honestly after flying it in FSX and P3D on moderate hardware I was apprehensive about how it would perform on my ageing i7 4790k, 1070 and 16GB and a spinney drive in MSFS. But guess what, its probably the best performing bird in my hangar! Rock solid 30FPS for the most part with moderate AIG traffic running Med-High settings. Absolutely over the moon! There are a few niggles but I expect PMDG patches to be dropping soon to mop up. Overall outstanding job! If you share my love then drop it in this thread! May i ask at what resolution you are running the sim? Have also an i7 4790K/32 gb/ 3060ti and i'm wondering what performance i could expect in 4K. Waiting currently for the -800 release Edited May 21, 20224 yr by jaguara5
