May 13, 20224 yr Finally got around to making my traditional airliner test flight with the new PMDG 737 - good old EGCC to LEAM - and the shiny new 737 did not disappoint.. Good frame rates with flawless LNAV and VNAV performance out from Manchester up to southern Spain, then nice and easy to land manually in a visual approach, even without the HGS flipped down. Hey Alan...was looking for the vid online....probably not posted yet. Did you happen to fly my TUI livery? 😉 I'm looking for someone to give me a UK reg for her so I can add it to my growing TUI collection of paints. 😉 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
May 13, 20224 yr I enjoy it, feels like I’ve been reunited with an old friend. If they’d just allow us to calibrate the throttle axis for a reverse zone I’d have zero issues with it. Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU
May 13, 20224 yr Quite amazed as well . The performance is also WAY better than i expected. I just need to deal a little with my Honeycomb Alpha as i found it much more sensitive than other aircrafts to small adjustments on the elevator axis. Anyone care to share there setup her ? PMDG is back indeed. (looking forward for CPflight drivers , (MCDUII VrInsight when popup is ready) or just Aviaworx for the FMC Michael Moe Edited May 13, 20224 yr by Michael Moe Michael Moe
May 13, 20224 yr Another opinion on the PMDG forums from someone preparing tutorials along with a couple of IRL 737-800 pilots:https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/185058-congratulations-to-the-teamI have been extensively flying the 737-700 with 2 friends of mine who happen to be 737-800 pilots, in order to record tutorials and prepare a few livestreams, and I must say this plane has exceeded our expectations. We were sceptical at first since this is a new platform and the SDK seemed to be limiting during development, but how wrong were we! This has become my favourite simming plane very fast. Even my colleagues, who were still flying their 737's in P3D and X11 respectively have manifested that they are leaving those platforms for MSFS thanks to this plane and the subsequent coming variants. I am specially in awe with the sounds, I have a cinema sound system installed in my room and holy cow, it seems like I am in a plane for real, good job to the one responsible for it! Overall, my ranking of payware planes in MSFS is: 1- PMDG's 737 2- MD-82 3- DC6 4- BAe 146 5- Cessna 414 Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD
May 13, 20224 yr After almost 2 years without flying this bird I had the satisfaction of this reunion with the PMDG 737. In this period of fasting, I learned a lot from the FBW An32, including gathering accessories for its immersive piloting. This was also possible thanks to the dedication of the developer team. The first flight 737 700 was excellent, I paid attention to every detail, starting from the cold and dark until the shutdown at the final destination. I congratulate Robert and his team and likewise Asobo for this project. Incredible times coming.
May 13, 20224 yr Author So I'm back in the cockpit again flying LEPA to LPMA - stretching the birds legs tonight. Its a early evening - night time landing. I'm somewhere over Spain, sun is setting at FL370 I'm in love! Edited May 13, 20224 yr by sidfadc Thomas Derbyshire
May 13, 20224 yr Some stunning shots there @sidfadc! Just downloaded the latest from @Steve Dra, can't wait to take that yellow TUI out for a spin 😀 Edited May 13, 20224 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

(looking forward for CPflight drivers , (MCDUII VrInsight when popup is ready) or just Aviaworx for the FMC Michael Moe I also found my joystick and rudder axis to be way too sensitive. Especially during taxi. I use a Thrustmaster Warthog throttle and stick as well as Saitek rudder pedals. I went into the control sensitivity screen and applied a -40 sensitivity curve to my rudder axis. I find it much better than the 0 sensitivity curve I was using by default. Try adjusting the sensitivity curve for your elevator axis. May 13, 20224 yr Everybody is busy flying.... So far no issues. No bugs, Actually (There is one flight from KPSP to KLAX I don't know that had a severe turn... ) Forget that.. They probably has no call! Maytag man is Lie. This is real. 🙂 Manny Beta tester for SIMStarter

People complain about it being a bit too sensitive. Today I've seen a stream from AvGeek where he rotated the bird like a rocket. Did the MSFS overly sensitive tradition find its way into the PMDG? 😄 Just asking cause I trust your judgement. Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved
May 13, 20224 yr love this bird! i've been flying for a few days but just discovered she has an entire massively detailed VIP cabin to explore! this is on par with some of the top XPlane private jets, and the best I've seen in MSFS so far. Edited May 13, 20224 yr by dresoccer4
