Last update mentioned you didn't have to do that anymore, the new installer will uninstall for you and that nullified having to give install code. Anyone tried installing over the older version yet?? without un-installing 1st?? Didn't work for me, so then did an un-install as per previous method, reinstalled the latest download from account but is still says v 2.7.3, don;'t know where v2.8 is. YBCG

I sure don't know what to tell you, other than to redownload. Maybe it somehow got glitched. Also noticed with the 2.7.3 update that the aircraft config file had changed - a "W" was added to all reference to 414A in reference to textures and fallback, I had to go through all installed 3rd party textures to add the W so they would work in Sim YBCG

It is now designated AW. But I can't reconcile how(1) the installer didn't work and (2) how you lucked out with adding the "W" and it works. If it still says 2.7.3 how can you be sure it's a pure install? I had to go through the texture entries in the C414AW.cfg associated with the default textures then update the 3rd party textures - took awhile but they all work. BTW, got 2.8 installed after again downloading from my account. All good now. steve YBCG
July 29, 20223 yr Hi Steve What exactly did you modify/update in the 3d party textures? Thanks for your detailed information Ernst
July 29, 20223 yr Anyone else experience some "wonkiness" with the altitude hold? It seems that even though I've set the target altitude, sometime the plane will climb or descend for no understandable reason. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Same here on two flights this morning, the AP Altitude would suddenly get out of control, I had to climb manually and use the ALT mode to maintain it instead of dialing the altitude as usual. Are you loading the passengers and fuel on the tablet only? This plane doesn't use the sim weight and balance menu. You need to make sure the CG is within limits in the tablet and don't touch the sim menu. July 30, 20223 yr So I was on SU10 beta. Then because of some CTD's I went back to SU9. And now I can't figure out why the PMS50 displays are blank even though I've got avionics on. Any suggestions? Edited July 30, 20223 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
