FShud has become very heavy on CPU-usage for me. I guess I have to lower my settings.  What are you guys using now with the two new parameters you can tweak?

10 for the first and 2 for the second but in all honesty I don't have a clue what they do... I also never look at my CPU usage as long as things look good. 😉

Sorry for the stupid question:

Has the whole discussion flipped to a FS-HUD topic ?!! (Moderator !)

I hope not, because I am interested in PRO-ATC/SR, not FS-HUD...

kind regards,

This happens al the time in Avsim, someone posts a question about topic A, and immediately users start asking questions about topic B, and how it is better than Topic A.

For example. a question gets posted about Simple Traffic, and 5 microseconds later, someone will post how AIG is so much better.

See how he sneakily changed the subject to traffic addons...? It happens all the time indeed!

(Just kidding! 😜)

Version 1.0.0.3 is out.  And the developer has been active on the forums answering questions.

Oh my... that's A-MA-ZING! 😜 (It actually is btw...)

Hello,

I tested Pilot2ATC, PF3 and I own FSHud and Pro-ATC/SR.

I can say that Pro-ATC at least for me provided best results as follow:

- Traffic Control very accurate with right phraseology and instructions

- Support Holding

- Provided correct TOC instructions in order to make a perfect landing

- Low CPU comsumption

- Was able to regonize the traffice injected by AIGTC and also by MSFS, my guess is that will be also able to detect FS Traffic from Just Flight when this be launched.

FSHud is a just ok application has the best user interface for sure, but is not a ready application and the point that it can only see the traffic injected by the application for me is very bad scenario because this limits your options and also make the Application very complex with high comsumption of CPU, I can understand the idea of developer but at lease for now I see this as a weak point because the developer are investing time to fix traffic injection instead of improve ATC and in the future it probably won`t be able also to detect traffic from other applications as well.

Pilot2ATC is a good application but interface is very old fashion and the instructions I got was good but not as good as the ones provided by Pro-ATC/SR, other point is that Pilot2ATC also offer a excelent level of customization.

PF3 is also a very good application but in the same way in a very old fashion UI (looks older than Pilot2ATC) but the instructions and level of customizations possible are quite good.

For me now I will staty with Pro-ATC/SR and I am going to follow FSHud progress but I have some questions as exaplained above,

It would be great if you could add your review here...

I still have issues with simbrief support. They changed it from username to Pilot ID. But still can not import. Now I at least get an error message instead of nothing happening.

And live traffic was making issues again. Bad a meeting with a Air France airbus by taxiing to the runway. Not ATC intervention at all. Full reverse throttle was needed to continue.

One additional comment, for traffic injection I already used MSFS AI offline, MSFS Real Traffic, AIG Traffic Controller, PSXT & Real Traffic and of course FSHud.

The most accurate and close to real world is by far PSXT and Real Traffic that inject traffic that represent real world traffic with delay of 20 seconds the only point is that these traffic injected are not AI traffic but objects, it means this type of traffic injection technic are not visible/detected by tools such as PRO-ATC, Pilot2ATC, Littlenavmap , but when it is an AI traffic this tools can detect traffic, the only exception is FSHud that only detect the traffic injected by itself.

AI Traffic are injection of AI elements (Aircrafts + Liveries) with an Flight Plan assigned to it and that is able to have Flight Status (Parked, Taxi in, Taxi Out, Airborne, and so on).

Objects are only Aircraft injected as objects that has it`s position refreshed often in MSFS based in real world aircraft position this of course does not have any status information.

My assumption is that AI Traffic injection should be something controlled by an specialized application or by MSFS itself (one day maybe ASOBO can fix AI Tarffic in MSFS :)), ATC applications in my perspective should be able to detect AI Traffic and not be responsible for the injection, this is important because in the future when new Traffic Injection tools be available the ATC application can handle the traffic injected by them.

If you want to have the best experence today in my perspective is the following:

- Install AIG Manager to have all Airfracfts + Liveries

- Use PSXT + Real Traffic to inject real world traffic in your system

- Use LiveATC.Net to listen Real ATC in background (with that you are going to see airfracts in MSFS and listen real ATC controlled them).

- Use an ATC Application such as PRO-ATC to control your airplane

- During the take off or landing block a real world aircraft in PSXT

- With that the LiveATC sound you are listnening will be providing instructions to your aircraft

This is the only way I see right now to have an experience as close as possible of Real World, I did it sometimes already :), there is a video on internet that demonstrates part of this process

Hi guys, I bought ProATC yesterday but I'm having a big issue. I can only hear the ATC speaking when I pause the game or hold the right click button to move the view, If I don't I only hear some part of the transmission. Any idea on how to solve?

Well using both so will see which one turns out here local my preferred one (as for MSFS live traffic has still issues and missing a lot)...

I was a long time user of ProATC X for P3D and one advantage was to copy over all my config files plus chatter files (12.000 files )

What I dislike is that you can't hide the atc menu which was possible in P3D...

That was not my point?

Well you said the traffic was ugly so I thought you mend the models, or did you mend the timing of the traffic movement? Which in the latest update can now be fine tuned too...
