i've followed the tutorials online for the aig, downloaded flight plan info for various airlines, set the directories correctly (i think).. had to run the manager as admin (win 11).. running beta10 as of now too.  I run the sim as regular non admin, but i also tried running it as admin.

The only way i can get the controller to appear is to run as admin, its version is 0.5.1.1

I click inject traffic but nothing appears (using kpit as an example).. i have a few static aircraft already there from a freeware addon though.

 

I noticed some tutorials showed launching with -MSFS2020 at the end, either way doesnt help.

I tried renaming content.xml to .bak and letting it recreate as one suggestion had.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

logs wise:

i see throw exception: 7 a few times, says 9987 scenery files collected and 41444 airports, aigfp data 66 files

I see it injecting traffic .aigfp, i see a few like:

Index was outside the bounds of the array.
   at AIGTech.TrafficController.Classes.Manager.Moduls.AIGFP_TrafficManager.AddNewPack(AIGFPPack pack)

Kaii is currently investigating, a problem with TC. no time line yet.

remove the downloaded ZIP from Resources as well as the database directory in your TC directory and restart.

What I really wonder in such situations: how the heck can this "just happen", out of the blue, without anything changed in the sim. AIG server issue?

To avoid long loading times and Etc, I don't even start AIG anymore. I just turn on live traffic in the Sim and it uses the AIG assets. So far everything still running fine.

i tried this, no change as far as traffic actually showing up.. also, the zip file and database directory didnt get recreated for some reason

I tried both sim setting of realtime and the other, ai option (ai is what i had it on).

How do i know if its got the flight plans and simobjects created properly, perhaps something there is amiss or i missed a step even.  I do see a slight amount of traffic on the map in the controller though.

Im confused on this, how does the sim know to use AIG assets, is something put in the actual sim config files to use those, if so where would that be?  I tried realtime online instead of the AI option and saw no change, no traffic.

 

EDIT:  i never had this working, so maybe my timing with a possible server issue is coincidence

When did this start to happen? Because TC worked fine 7 hours ago on my last Halifax-Boston flight absolutely no issues. 

Can someone else verify that TC is not injecting traffic at this present time ?

Just went on Alpha India's forum .. yep they seem to have some issues going on at the moment. Strange ... because it was super busy at KBOS when i flew in a few hours ago and i use TC.

First, it's sometimes takes a few minutes to populate, and second, make sure that you have live traffic selected in the flight conditions screen as well.

Also, AIG can and will turn off or delete your previous default traffic bgl, if you allow it to do so. To get that back, you can either save a copy, or delete it completely and Microsoft flight simulator will detect that it's missing and reinstall it.

So I'm not the only one. It does not inject at the starting airport, but it starts sometime along the way. Really odd.

This is also what I was told when I sent my files to AIG. I had traffic at KORD, RJAA, VHHH and suddenly the next day when leaving VHHH no traffic at all, neither at WSSS and VTBS. 

I really don't understand something here, this is an offline utility, how can it suddenly go amiss for everyone?! Is there any connection to AIG in the background, and if so for what purpose? I would understand if it was a real time tool but AIGTC is playing with files (flight plans and plane models) already downloaded by AIGAIM and saved on my PC, so why would the AIGTC stop working as if it was an online tool? Can anyone explain please?

It cannot be an Asobo novelty either since I am on SU9 and never tried SU10.

When you start the program it checks for updates .. (just like the sim) and installs it if one is available.

Anyone mind checking if their AI Manager app shows no installed flight plans at all? I clean installed W11 while keeping the AIG folders on an SSD I removed before the installation and now it doesn't show any flight plans installed and won't inject traffic. I thought this was because something went wrong just 're-using' the AIG installation as it is on my SSD, but perhaps it's the same issue.

are we talking about files in fs-base-ai-traffic/scenery/world/traffic?

If so i see 3, all dated 8/22/2022 (nothing newer since i installed aig interestingly)

fs10aircraftypes.csv, trafficaircraft.bgl.aigoff and trafficboats.bgl  

Still unclear here, so if its disabling built in sim traffic bgls (i guess it renamed the one), then without traffic controller running how could traffic get injected?  (also, with traffic controller running on hitting inject, should a bgl suddenly appear here)?  Looking for ways to verify its even working.. i have ms traffic on ai offline or whatever the name was, but i've tried realtime online, both never load up anything.  I have about 45 common airlines/flight plans in the traffic manager, im assuming thats enough

Traffic manager is 1.1.0.102 as of now

Traffic controller is 0.5.1.1
