SU10 and Graphics rash

We're the VFR map people and we did listen. This is a mod conflict issue and the solution was posted on the beta forums in multiple threads.

Please remove any mods that affect the VFR map or apply updates to those mods if applicable (the big two are the G3000 mod, which has an update to remove its VFR map mods, and the PMS GTN750, which also has an update to remove its VFR map mods). Those VFR map mods will break the VFR map because they're still modding the old VFR map, which will result in a very broken situation.

Say "vfr map mod" ten times fast hahaha

Oh, absolutely! 🙂 Just wanted to make sure folks knew we didn't just ignore reports of a totally busted VFR map, since it was all new. We definitely investigated and finally found the issue, which was the mod conflicts in question.

Did I mention I was also joking. Just for the record. Your DAD is usually nice

Just did an hour's flight in the PMDG 737 with SU10 (I was in the beta) and with the new Studio-oriented driver. Tried DX12 and so long as I stay away from DLSS which looks pretty useless unless I want out of focus glass panels, it seems that there is a modest image enhancement, but certainly not world changing.

Everything worked fine, for what that's worth.

I guess the beta testers missed this.

All betas SU10 worked flawlessly on both my pc’s….
3+h flights without any issues.
I do have pre caching on Ultra by default.

Only  FSUIPC needs to be updated.

Same issue for me using 3080 and DX11.  I switched to DLSS and tried to launch a flight and got this error message, was using TAA before. I'm going to try with the latest studio driver released yesterday 517.40

On TAA & DX11 as I don't have the RTX card required by DLSS.

Kept my old graphics settings. (Mainly a mix of High & Medium)

A few test flights - scenery looks a bit sharper & the only other impact so far is I have dropped a few FPS.

In flights where I was getting 38 FPS now getting 30 FPS, but its still smooth.

Also, VFR map isn't working: window appears but is never filled with anything.

Richard, Matt posted in the other VFR map thread some more details on a possible solution

Please report back with how you got on with the Studio driver. There are lots of us ex SU9 users going slightly mad over this occuring in SU10 - feels like 5 steps backwards, SU9 was amazing for my rig.

installed lates Nvidia driver and tried both DX11 and DX12 beta. No issues so far. Some airplane don't support DX12 thought. One of them PMDG 737 line.

I see you can't select 30 fps or 60 fps, now they give you percentages of monitor refresh rate....33%  50%   100%   . What are you supposed to use?

Once I updated to latest studio driver released yesterday 517.40 I'm not getting that error message anymore.  Tried DX11 & 12 with DLSS and TAA no issues.

TAA looks better to me quality wise. I probably need to test different settings for DLSS see how it goes. Didnt notice any performance differences on my system between dx11/dx12 and taa  or dlss.

Windows 11, 32RAM, i7-12700K, 3080 FE, 3440x1440, G-sync

It's smooth on Ultra, all I care about.

Do you have any idea how it fails? I had no problem with it, except for the blurry glass screens using DLSS.
