SU10 and Graphics rash

Featured Replies

I, like probably many others, get the error message below. CDT.

I updated the drivers already to my Geforce 1080 (516.94). I don't overclock, nor is it overheating. I also applied all available updates of MSFS. The plane was the default Cessna 172SP. In the graphics settings, I tried DX12 (Beta), which was set by default, and DX11.

Any other ideas?

UPDATE:

The problem seems to be spurious. After another restart in "save mode" it worked even in "normal mode" on the bought airport where it crashed before. All in DX11. Fingers crossed.

Just happened to me too. C172 analog gagues.

Doesn't MSFS + DX12 require the nVidia driver released today (517.40)?

MSFS ran smooth as silk before SU10

Just got the "your bandwith is too low, switched to offline" message. Got a rather good fiber though.... Never have had that before.

I guess the beta testers missed this.

That is probably an Asobo server issue because so many people are downloading the update.

Never play on a patch day.

Nope.... Beta forum is full of topics about this problem. It was not resolved during multiple builds... Not even acknowledged by devs.

You're right, lots of discussion here during the beta about this exact error message:

no we did not. Beta tester report issue, we don't fix them. Go look on the forum, there is a huge thread on this.

Hmm... To be precise, I never "play" with this, I fly with this 😁✈️❤️

I think I mentioned it 2-3 times in various threads on the official beta forums over the last weeks. The CTD with this error message was introduced with build .18 IIRC. Many pointed it out, and there was a worry it would be carried over in the release version.

Same with HDR needing the workaround. This issue has a thread with 400 replies that started July 8, and has been "bug-logged".
