sold out, stock went down, price went up 400€ from 2.169 € to 2.529,00 € in less than 2 hours. reminds me of 2020. but then you couldn't place an order at all.

Drove to St. Davids,  PA this morning to check out their Microcenter.  I arrived 75 minutes after opening.

They had a decent selection, no lines,  people were tricking in.    No STRIX when I got there,  but plenty of TUF.   No liquid cooled cars either.

Decided to pass because I really wanted a liquid cooled card and didn't want to pay PA's 6% sales tax.   Just checked their site,  still several examples in stock.

B&H Photo still has a Zotac for pre-order,  https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1730538-REG/zotac_zt_d40900j_10p_geforce_rtx_4090_trinity.html

Should ship on the 19th,   as they are observing a religious holiday.

Must be nice <jealous>.

Zero Best Buys in my area had any in store at opening time. I had the guy check, matter of fact, no stores got shipped any at all. So much for 'plenty available'. I stopped at 2 stores. Salesman at 2nd store help me order a PNY 4090 that 'should' arrive the 14th. I'm not getting my hopes up.

Better than a paper launch but not by much IMO.

I ended up ordering one in a pre-built system and it ended up being 1683 INC VAT. Didn't say what brand it was though.

Weren't you building your own quality computer for the 4090? I assume this pre-built purchase was in slight 4090 desperation?

Sad to say I was right, scalpers were(are) out in full force. <sigh> I tire of lack of availability of products.

No, I was waiting for a 13900K, but then Ive researched it and decided to go the AMD route o I can upgrade early next year to the 3D cpu. So in doing so, I can have the build done now rather than in one weeks time, so I told teh company that does it for me though my company to just add a 4090 whilst they were at it....

I`m not interested in the 4090 and will wait to see the 4080 next month It will still be CPU bound but for less money.

And hopefully the scalpers will get stuck with them !!!

I was at my local computer store picking up a new switch this morning and there were at least 10 4090's stacked up behind the register waiting to be picked up. Nearly 3K CDN each! I have already seen a bunch on FB Marketplace. I cannot believe people are willing to spend 3K hoping to make a profit, it will not happen in today's economy. I brought my 3090 brand new for $1,200 CDN from a guy in June that purchased 3 of them in April for a total of $7,500. I have a copy of the invoice so I could register it. Assuming he sold the other 2 for a similar price he is looking at nearly a $4,000 loss!!

I am going to sit and wait until these people can't sell them and start dropping the price lol

You might be waiting a while. 89 4090s already sold on Ebay and 99 currently available. And this is in the first ~6 hours.
