SWS Kodiak 100 Hotfix Out

FWIW, I still have one issue with both the Amphib and wheels version. Using the AP, if I set the alt using the Bravo Tq or the default - the a/c will climb and stop about 100 - 200ft below the requested alt.  However, if I climb to the alt manually and set alt hold - all is good.

Perhaps I am wrong but I thought that AP was capable of climbing to a selected alt.

There is something weird with the altitude at times in MSFS. Sometimes it read a couple of hundred feet low, when on AP. I just hit a manual 300 fpm climb until it gets up to the altitude setting that I have dialed in.

Thanx Bob. I suspected something like that.

Not up on Contrail.

After already owning a few other seaplanes is the Kodiak Amphibian worth it? Yup. Answered my own question.

Is it always low for you?  Or is it ever high (overshoot altitude)?

For me, it is always low.

I had a similar issue but I found out it was because I had an old version of the TDS GTN installed which caused this issue. Updated it and it all worked as normal again. Not sure if you have any similar addons installed.

It still drops the nose heavily when AP is disengaged for me, and below 90 Kias full flaps it fall like a stone on final and it's very twitchy to control, it's not fun to fly at all.

I haven't flown the Kodiak in months before the last patch, but from what I remember I didn't get a nosedive if I disconnect autopilot before engaging full flaps before, so I'll try that tonight.

Noticed this as well.  I had not flown the Kodiak in months until yesterday and something is definitely different on approach/landing.  I had zero cargo/passengers  and 50% fuel and it behaved in a similar manner...it just wants to fall out of the sky on short final.  I wonder if this is a known issue??
