November 11, 20223 yr Chopper looks decent inside and out. Once I disabled the helpers it flew a lot nicer - it's touchy like the real one. Sounds are nice too. I'll be flying this a lot more! November 11, 20223 yr This looks great! Can't wait to try it out. Are the assists for helis in their own sub menu, then?

Sooooo.....I'm a bit frustrated as the GNS530 doesn't seem to work as a GPS source for the HSI. HSI only works in VLOC. You can see my pic here that the CDI is deflected to the left but the HSI is basically centered. *Heavy sigh* why was I surprised? BASIC functionality would be appreciated.... shortlived by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Thank goodness the xml files are unlocked.... might be able to fix it. @Bert Pieke where are you lol? <Component ID="Needle_Hsi_Cdi_b407"> <UseTemplate Name="ASOBO_GT_Anim_Code"> <ANIM_NAME>b407_needle_hsi_cdi</ANIM_NAME> <ANIM_CODE> (A:CIRCUIT ON:20,bool) (A:NAV HAS NAV:1,bool) and if{ (A:NAV CDI:1, number) /-/ 127 + } els{ 127 } </ANIM_CODE> <ANIM_LENGTH>254</ANIM_LENGTH> <ANIM_LAG>400</ANIM_LAG> <NODE_ID>sk_needle_hsi_deviation</NODE_ID> <WWISE_EVENT></WWISE_EVENT> </UseTemplate> </Component> Edited November 11, 20223 yr by ryanbatc | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

They should have got the beta testers to look at all of this release rather than trying to be clever and hide away the bits that actually needed the most testing to be a special "reveal"
November 11, 20223 yr Author Yeah it would be great if basics worked. I can't seem to find a working Force Trim button. Maybe I can bind one. For now I've got to keep my stick forward quite far while flying. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
November 11, 20223 yr Well, they're nothing if not consistent 😄 Hopefully fixed in a future patch. I guess for now I'll navigate by HSI (human sight and intuition?).

November 11, 20223 yr Is there a controller for under $100 that I can use to fly the helicopters? I presently have a yoke and pedals. Roy i7-10700 CPU @2.90 GHz, 32 GB Ram, nVadia GTX1660ti, Samsung 1 TB SSD Drive

Roy It would technically work okay with a yoke but it would feel weird imo. Covid has prices way up but the T1600m is a great stick for "cheap" Otherwise the Logitech G extreme is even cheaper if you're only flying once in a while Edited November 11, 20223 yr by ryanbatc | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Look for "Increase Rotor Lateral Trim", "Decrease Rotor Lateral Trim", etc for anything with "Rotor " in it. "That's what" - She
