The shortcomings of the PSXT approach are no connection with ATC, not following the taxiways, landing on grass, and being jerky. If the solution were free I would still not use it because of those things. Likewise.

As I have Ps working outside MSFS my sim has more breathing room. And no stutters with either SU11 beta as with the official release version Hopefully you will find a way to eliminate these stutters …. I don't have stutters any more Gerard--it's very likely Realtime Online Traffic + PMDG at my settings is a bit much. I'm about to do a short flight now in the AS CRJ so will see what happens w/ RT Online Traffic w/ Simple Traffic with that plane and will run a capture to compare. For now if there is any stuttering w/ PMDG + RTOT I will just use AI Offline traffic better than nothing. I use Process Lasso and have nothing else on the thread. You might do a CapFrameX capture so we can compare. Did cold and dark to FL230 in the CRJ700 and RT Online Traffic and all was fine with ultra low FTV. TLOD I left at only 110 as I have it for PMDG 738. November 16, 20223 yr I can't remember what I used in FSX, but all I really want is what I had there. A bunch of AI aircraft that have geographically correct liveries and are going about doing their business. And then I want random GA traffic generated for the smaller controlled and the uncontrolled airports. All of which were compatible with default ATC. I don't mind if it's not live, or even a real flight. For now I just turn off all AI. FSLTL was ok, but no GA as far as I could see. They are all kinda useless though until ATC is fixed.

November 30, 20223 yr When I plan a flight using SimBrief, I usually check Live ATC and Flight radar 24 so I have a good idea what is going on in the real world because when I hit the windows key and start PSXT and Real Traffic launcher after I start setting up my plane at the gate I know the traffic I see at the airport in the sim is what I see on flight radar 24, I have lately killed them off just before touchdown at heavy traffic airports, and started it again after runway turnoff because of some stutters on landing roll out but no problems otherwise. I have almost half my settings on medium, the rest on high at 1920x1080 with i5-12600, rtx 3060ti.

November 30, 20223 yr Adding my praise of PSXT+RT. Best immersion I have found of the various offerings. Like someone said earlier, all the troubles going on with the AI make me even happier with my choice. Also, as Nico said just a bit above, the microstutters are now gone. The movement is super fluid and you will sometimes get a mismatch if an airport is wrong/outdated/poorly designed. I'm willing to live with those issues to have correct liveries, correct spacing, plenty of traffic in the skies and the ability to hear truly live traffic if I'm in the right airports.

Now, if only there was a way of getting your static parked aircraft to call a jetway! 🙂 Surely you could inject statics as regular AI Traffic that were sleeping and just set a far away take off time? 🙂 ...
