Crikey, What's Happened After SU11

Recommended Posts

I'm at a complete loss. After the latest update I'm seeing absurdly low performancewith the PMDG DC6 and 737-800. I suspect the same is true across other aircraft, but I'm guessing it's more apparent with the PMDG aircraft due to them being more resource hungry. A couple of examples, 737-800 at Iniscene's NZQN stuttering and frames bobbing around 22! With animated groundcrew stuttering as they walk. DC6 at the Gatwick freeware airport seeing around 22/23 by the terminals and wait for it, the 737-800 farmerates and stuttering around 18! What is going on! I've also run these same scenarios with nothing else in the community folders and no external mods running at the same time. This has only happened since SU11 update. I've read a few posts elsewhere with similar experiences, but wondering what you guys here have to say.

I noticed this as well with the 737-700. I'm not a frame-rate peeper so I don't what the numbers were, but definitely more stuttering after the update. I normally don't notice any of that unless taxiing around LAX and even that isn't too bad.

running a very old PC with almost butter smooth performance, try deleting DX11/12 shader cache, reset nVidia panel to default, clear your sim rolling cache and start fresh especially any thing related to Vsync on/off and refresh rate settings in sim.

good luck.

There are multiple threads on this topic today, I'm guessing it's something server side.

Just finished my fourth flight after SU11.  Same aircraft, same settings.  This fourth flight was a stuttery mess.  Got a couple of server alerts early in the flight.  No clue.  The first three flights were totally normal.  I suspect server issues.

Could be. I did get a couple of those server alerts now that you mention it. Hopefully that was the issue.

It was only with Windows 11 22H2, which is being deployed now. Windows 11 version 21H2 works fine.

The minimal information released by MS said that only "certain configurations" experience the issue, which is that some applications "unintentionally" activate debugging code, which does not by design, run as fast as release code.

My configuration is affected. Badly.

Yeah I haven't noticed any worse performance  either

Your configuration is not affected. Nvidia or AMD GPU?

Welcome to the party, pal. Hehe. Always wanted to use that line for real.

Are you by chance running a RTX2000 series GPU?

Is this something to do with WASM compilation after SU11?

The Inibuilds A310 is affected by this. Is this a problem sim-wide? Anything with a WASM compilation requirement is suffering from this?

Windows 11 is not for nothing, it is on the servers side that there are difficulties. Ms is aware, an update is in progress.
