November 18, 20223 yr Hi, Is it worth adding to my airport collection? MSFS has the handcrafted version done by Gaya simulations I Believe. Shom MSFS2024 running on Win 11, 4K screen, Z790 AORUS ELITE AX-W, i9-14900K, MSI 3080Ti, Corsair 2x32GB 6000 MHz, 1+2TB M.2 NVMEs
November 18, 20223 yr I would say.. no. I bought it early on, but after MSFS added their own version, I dropped it. Edited November 18, 20223 yr by Bert Pieke Bert
November 18, 20223 yr I would also say 'yes' ... have had it for quite a while and really like it. Ads Kluczinsky
November 18, 20223 yr Yes. As most hand crafter msfs airports are not very good they are better than default but 3rd party is better
November 18, 20223 yr I‘ve had FSDT’s Zurich since release and I quite like it. It‘s not top-tier quality like some of FlyTampa‘s airports or EBBR, but it‘s quite atmospheric and good value for the money I‘d say. i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2
November 18, 20223 yr Gaya's MSFS airports are rather average, which is understandable due to the amount and little time they have between world updates. I found only EDDS to be actually good. So yes, FSDT's version is worth it. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
November 19, 20223 yr Author Thanks all looks like I'll go with the FSDT version! Shom MSFS2024 running on Win 11, 4K screen, Z790 AORUS ELITE AX-W, i9-14900K, MSI 3080Ti, Corsair 2x32GB 6000 MHz, 1+2TB M.2 NVMEs
November 20, 20223 yr I know LSZH very well, have both and I say, that the default one clearly is better.
November 20, 20223 yr i dont have the fsdt version, but fps on the default gaya one are bad on a high end system...
November 20, 20223 yr The FSDT version is more enhanced and better on the framerate too on both my systems. Like it has been written above : not FT quality but imho better than the default Gaya version. However if you only visit the AP once in a while the default version is good enough. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
November 20, 20223 yr Although you highlighted it in red you forgot to read the OR in the sentence. It‘s not top-tier quality like some of FlyTampa‘s airports OR (Aerosoft’s) EBBR Download my repaints at AVSIM.
