Have to check it.

RC3 brought light flashes that happen erratically. Some sessions have none, others are full of it to the point of having to stop XP12.

Massive improvement all around. Lighting just keeps on improving with each update. Cockpit lighting is so much better. They also improved water shading. Impressive work by Laminar.

Hi,

No ATIS at KEWR, can someone confirm this? I'm also using X-ATC Chatter.

Thanks

There's still an FPS drop at dusk, about 10FPS.

Setup: RX6800 | 5800X3D + B450 | 32GB 3200MHz | X-Plane 12

The blacks and whites are on point. This new tone mapper is really doing some heavy lifting. It feels like the dynamic range and color depth got improved. The auto exposure system is working really well too.

...and looks like they fixed some more things not on the list cause with my AMD gpu I have the normal fps back again and not stuck at 20fps anymore. Interesting as there seems no related fix note but anyway. Its usable again for me and thats good! And I can't confirm the drop at night. For me its the other way around now. Getting even around 5fps more than in daylight.

Happy flying

Cheers T.

I'm stunned. Got smooth VR performance with SteamVR (left it active in the command line accidentally), even in the A330 and with clouds! All that with 1080ti and Quest 2. Before RC4 it was a stutter/jitter fest.
Future is bright. Can't imagine the heaven with 3080/3090/4080/4090 cards.
