December 23, 20223 yr JFK and London Heathrow for me, though I also like Gatwick. Any of the big hubs around the world are good and I like to try a few different countries to see different liveries like Tokyo and Sydney. Not tried South Africa yet but that maybe next on my list. KBOS - northwest corner between rwy 15R and 22R as there are intersecting departures/arrivals, which are a mix of international widebodies all the way down to dinky regional jets. KLAS - crossing runways and a fantastic cityscape backdrop. KSEA - lots of traffic using 3 close parallel runways (though typical weather may limit visibility). EDDF - one crossing runway, lots of aircraft of different sizes into Germany's largest airport. Plus the city can be seen in the not too distant background. SBRJ - if you have accurate live traffic, this is a great spotting airport rught next to the heart if Rio de Janeiro. Traffic landing on a short rwy 02R give you a view of aircraft passing the Sugarloaf Mountain. Traffic landing rwy 20L make a circling final approach over the bay.
