 Man, I miss A2A...

I have had  8 or so of their birds since 2005. So do I . Now, with this level of hype, they have to deliver big 😁

If I were to use a conservative estimate, it sounds like the Comanche should be released within the next 2 months?

While I’d like that to be true, my gut tells me it’s going to be another 3-4 months.  I think A2A places a much higher importance on “brand” and won’t release anything unless near 100% perfect.

Agreed. I have had as many of their birds as well. Everything from the venerable B-17G to the fun little Cub to the Spitfire and everything in between. I spent the absolute majority of my time in FSX and P3D in A2A Accusim aircraft. It will be a happy day for this simmer when I see the release notification.

Great video! So much A2A nostalgia from watching it 🙂 Now, you've only made my A2A longing worse...lol.

Seriously though, nicely put together video and reminds me of SO many similar flights I did back in my FSX and P3D A2A birds. Great stuff!

I came into simming w/ MSFS, so I've only heard stories and memories of A2A, but I've always kept my fingers crossed they would work on a B-17 for MSFS as it sounds like they'd do it justice. I don't know if there's enough demand for it, so I try not to keep my hopes up!

We can only hope. The A2A B-17G for FSX and P3D was one of my favorite A2A aircraft. That thing was amazing and has some super cool features, besides all the great systems modeling. It would make me ecstatic  if I heard they were making one for MSFS, but I agree with you, I have no idea what the demand is for one in MSFS, or if there is one. I can tell you this though...IF A2A came out and announced they were going to develop a B-17 for MSFS you would see some lengthy and exuberant discussion threads on here I am willing to bet 😉

Their Cub was criminally underrated. Yeah I know it’s small and slow but was an absolute gem, especially in VR.

I remember that plane.  Whatever happened to these guys, are they still around?

Their Comanche is in beta last I heard.  I think they're close to releasing it.  This article was published yesterday: https://msfsaddons.com/2023/05/15/a2a-now-working-on-tutorial-videos-for-the-comanche-250-for-msfs-their-most-ambitious-project-ever/

What's the difference between the Comanche and an Arrow?

The Comanche was a great plane in P3D. I would also cheerfully welcome in MSFS the Texan T-6, my favorite,  the P-51 and, why not, the Strat’. Sooner rather than later.

Bigger/higher performance wing. It’s closer to an early Bonanza vs something like a 172.

At least you know the Comanche release is very likely to come in 2023. Even in the worst case scenario, I can't see A2A delaying this Comanche release until 2024.

Can't say the same thing about the Quality Wings 787. The QW 787 was supposed to come in Q2 of 2021. It's now Q2 of 2023:
