Imaginesim KATL for MSFS

Simple question - yes or no.

PS. It had worked very well for me in P3D.

Take a look for yourself here:

IMO, there's likely to be another payware attempt at KATL by another developer at some point.

I say yes. I don't understand the hate. It runs well in my system. I usually use vatsim. They aren't FSDT, Flytampa or flightbeam but it's still way better than that handcrafted stuff.

Have you watched the screenshots linked in the 2nd post?

I'm perfectly satisfied with the Asobo version.

Imaginesim is likely no longer in business. Their last facebook post was DEC 2020.

The asobo version is the better of the two.  I live in atlanta and fly out of KATL very frequently for work.  Inibuilds has hinted they may look at it.  Though it's possible they won't.  In short the asobo one isn't bad.  It's just a long ways off from what it could be.  I think KATL has never had a top tier 1 level rendition in any sim.  So it would be great to get one.

I personally do not like any of the handcrafted airports. I refuse to vouch for them. Its why we dont have a good JFK or SFO. Im surprised we got a decent payware SEA.  SFO and SEA are airports I frequent and there is absolutely nothing about the handcrafted versions of these that makes me feel immersed. To me something is just off with that handcrafted ATL, Im not sure if its missing gates, the spacing between them? Different strokes for different folks though. In the end I wish flytampa just finished ATL

I have both.

Short answer: No, do not buy the imagine sim.

I bought it, and the handcrafted one is the one I actually use.

I really wish someone would make a good quality payware KATL. Sad it hasn't received much attention, especially because it's one of the busiest airports in the world.

I initially bought the Imaginesim version since I had it in P3d.  It wasn't terrible but ended up going back to the Asobo version as I also think that it is better.  The only issue is that some of the terminals are still the old orange colors but no big deal.  Also, it does not seem the lights on runway 28/10 work in the Asobo version...anyone else notice this?

All hope rests with iniBuilds. Someone on Imaginesim FB posted they never got the link to download KATL after buying it and it went unanswered. I deleted the bookmark from browser for them. They are gone.

I fly out of ATL quite a bit, and after a series of frustrating emails with ImagineSim I deleted it and use the Asobo version. It’s not great, but it ain’t bad…

If I recall, it was one of the first payware airports for MSFS....an obvious P3D port and cash grab....
