KOKC - Oklahoma City Released

Featured Replies

I really like their sceneries, I own EGLL, KLAX and KDTW but I'll pass on this one. If it's on sale at the end of the year, why not.

I'm really sure it is a great news for US users but being european, it's not really the kind of airport I would fly often. It's not really a major US airport.

Now, if they would have made PHNL, KDFW, KJFK or KMCO for exemple, it would have been a first day purchase for me.

really unclear why there is no JFK until now ? It's a profitable project.

An extremely popular destination haha!

Kidding of course.  I "lived" there for a few months while learning ATC.  Not much to see there - the federal memorial was fairly interesting though.

I like well done mid size airports, it can be nice to depart from a hectic big city hub and then land at a relatively sedate medium sized out station.

And there are plenty of US flight simmers who would think the exact same thing about LEIB, and certainly EIKY.
They would ask 'Where are first-day purchases such as LFPG, EDDF, EHAM?"

I'm glad that it's not just mega hubs being made. There is demand (albeit limited) for secondary or tertiary destinations.
e.g. Pyreegue has made and continues to make secondary UK airport airports, MK-Studios is working on various sized European airports, VerticalSim is creating mid- to smaller sized US airports.

Just need more quality scenery in Asia, Africa and South America.

I would also really like to see these airports. Their size is 10 times larger than Oklahoma in terms of the number of buildings. I guess it's not easy, given the IniBuilds detail standards.

It’s funny… I grew up a half hour from Will Rogers World Airport so this is a day one buy for me. LOL

Hope you were there when this was still operating....  I lived 60 miles west in Weatherford, OK for several years and this was a great destination.

Also curious on the performance as their track record has been horrible when it comes to performance.

Hoping and praying they do JFK next! 🤞

Not true, see the updated EGLL and KLAX, best "biggest airports" we have now - IMO !

For this one maybe not after the first release but after some updates i think it gets very good.

cheers 😉

KLAX stutters even at 30 fps locked. Just fly the drone between the buildings.
