February 22, 20233 yr I really like their sceneries, I own EGLL, KLAX and KDTW but I'll pass on this one. If it's on sale at the end of the year, why not. I'm really sure it is a great news for US users but being european, it's not really the kind of airport I would fly often. It's not really a major US airport. Now, if they would have made PHNL, KDFW, KJFK or KMCO for exemple, it would have been a first day purchase for me.
February 22, 20233 yr An extremely popular destination haha! Kidding of course. I "lived" there for a few months while learning ATC. Not much to see there - the federal memorial was fairly interesting though. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
February 22, 20233 yr I like well done mid size airports, it can be nice to depart from a hectic big city hub and then land at a relatively sedate medium sized out station. And there are plenty of US flight simmers who would think the exact same thing about LEIB, and certainly EIKY. They would ask 'Where are first-day purchases such as LFPG, EDDF, EHAM?" I'm glad that it's not just mega hubs being made. There is demand (albeit limited) for secondary or tertiary destinations. e.g. Pyreegue has made and continues to make secondary UK airport airports, MK-Studios is working on various sized European airports, VerticalSim is creating mid- to smaller sized US airports. Just need more quality scenery in Asia, Africa and South America. Not true, see the updated EGLL and KLAX, best "biggest airports" we have now - IMO ! For this one maybe not after the first release but after some updates i think it gets very good. cheers 😉 Edited February 23, 20233 yr by pmplayer 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.
