Tecnam P2006T MkII, felt some A2A vibes...

I am interested, and it has some unique features.   Unfortunately, due to the Rotax units, it sounds very annoying - like a pack of angry bee's!

It does look nice but I do wish FSS would give their time to the E175 which I have paid good money for.

The community was given plenty of warning that buying into such a thin early access product would lead to disappointment, so I can't help but laugh at this. Also, I seriously doubt the folks on the Tecnam are the same as on the E175.

I wasn't aware that its the same developer, ah so thats why he said this is not early access. Well, it is a studio. My guess another team is working on the E175.

I'm not at all disappointed in the early access E175? I just expect timely progress.

You can see the extreme twitchyness...

But the plane overall looks very interesting!

Most of their roadmap at the moment appears to be fixing the abysmal performance some people are getting with the displays, and all of the other "Top 10" items are mostly "Waiting for back-end FMS coding to complete," which sounds to me like one of their developers is learning how to code an FMS while the rest move on to the Tecnam and other projects.

Not exactly what was on my bingo card for that project, but I'm not surprised.

As for the Tecnam, interesting little plane. It looks pretty good from the preview video. I have no doubt in their ability to deliver GA aircraft with WT avionics - I think maybe they should have focused on that for a "first jet," maybe something corporate with a Proline or G3000.

FYI one of their devs confirmed on Discord that the Tecnam team is entirely separate from the E-Jets team.

It's a funny thing to fly, but not for icing conditions 😇

It actually not that bad and it does have A2A wibes:

I'm running realistic mod:

Pros:

1. 7. Very nice preflight inspection outside- cold & dark using  ( using cur weather temp 0-12C) I have to rotate propeller (outside) to prime 10-12 times (nice touch)

2. Each model remember all switches where you left them

3. All circuit breakers work

4. Check list is very handy and pops at very convenient spot

5. Interactive load: boxes, people.

6. Doors hatches opens

Cons:

1. Would be nice to see different part maintanance/overhaul in tablet like with Milviz 310

2. Tablet has map. Kind of redundant with G1000 NXI

Comments in the first post's video are pretty good supposedly from folks with RL experience with the plane, then again it is the internet and people hype and embellish on the internet.

Is there a way to move through the preflight cameras without going back and forth to the tablet to select them? That was the only thing I thought was a little funky when watching the preview vids.

I wish Asobo would bake in pre-flight/walkaround functions into the sim.
