April 28, 20233 yr Author you are right, as an interim solution, do this, it works for me: Edited April 29, 20233 yr by turbomax important: "an interim" instead of "a interim" ;-) AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.
April 29, 20233 yr As far as the GTNXi integration goes.. it is definitely improved. However, if it bothers you that the ETE to next waypoint does not show correctly in the EHSI, get hold of me via PM for a fix. 😉 I sent the code to Carenado months ago, but they chose not to use it. April 29, 20233 yr So Carenado have turned the new leaf? Actively supporting their products with service updates. Kudos to them. Probably start to get a better reputation in the community if it holds up. http://youtube.com/c/Greazer

I take it we have to apply your fix again after their recent PC 12 update? but the fix you emailed me back then got deleted: This item was deleted You might be able to find it in your deleted files. If it's not there, try asking the person who shared it with you. 1) ok, I'll try asking the person.😀 2) there is an ETA in the Avydine (often showing totally wrong times though) 3) what is that 2nd green vector in the TAWS display, in addition to my destination airport vector to KHSP at 25 degrees there is another one left of this one at 40 degrees? 4) unrelated: why is there no ILS frequency listed for rwy 25 at KHSP in the VFR map when there is one in the sim at: 108.8 MHz (later: the ILS frequency did show. have to investigate what's going on) no other severe problems or crashes due to the Avidyne observed: TAWS Edited April 29, 20233 yr by turbomax AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.
May 1, 20233 yr I think Carenado's effort has actually turned out to be a great plane and it's a pleasure to use. For some reason I've never suffered from loss of frame rates after an hour syndrome and everything seems to work rather well after the latest update. Meanwhile, over on the SWS Facebook page, news of something else I'm really looking forward to; A much belated update to the even more belated PC-12. Today we will be sharing some more pictures of the exterior as well as the inside of the aircraft. The exterior model is now complete and we is finalizing the base materials and pumping out liveries. What is left to do on the exterior is finalise the flap animations, chocks & reds. We are thinking also of animating the de-icing boots, but that will also require some effects work, so it is under consideration. Last thing will be the decals pass, where we will apply the rivets and stencils to the aircraft. The cockpit is also in the hands of the painters and they are applying materials. To it. We have managed to make the interior customizable for repainters. This means that you will be able to customize the finishing of the interiors easily without having to repaint the entire thing. Wood, carpet and other materials are simple, seamless textures, so replacing Oak with Cherry should change the look of the wall sidings easily. With the avionics shaping up nicely, we are finally approaching a point where we deem the aircraft ready for previewing and release. Speaking of the “R” word, some of you may have noticed that we are -only slightly-behind schedule. Other than numerous personal setbacks we encountered, we want the PC-12 to be a new benchmark for SWS aircraft, and this takes time. The good news is that it is going to be our best plane when it is released. The bad news is that we need more time to make it what we envisioned it to be. What this means is that we will do a staggered release in two or three stages. The initial release will be priced 25-35€ and contain: — Four bladed PC-12/47 variant — Detailed exterior with reds, chocks & opening exits — Fully animated cockpit featuring a custom EFIS50, EIS, KR87/GNS530/430. If you use the TDS or PMS GTN then it will automatically switch to a GTN750/650 combination. — Executive & Combi interior with passengers, cargo and lots of custom animations — Hot starts, residual ITT and engine wear — Sky4Sim tablet (PC-only) A subsequent updates will add: — Five-bladed propeller variant — Cargo interior. Commuter being considered. — Weather RADAR — Fixes to any bugs reported — SWS tablet An expansion is also in development, but we haven't decided if it will be free or an upgrade. The feature set will be: — Aircraft walk around with access to the engine, tail, fuel filter and all required preflight areas — Random failures & failures from wear and tear — Reds & chocks removable by walking around. Remember to remove those pitot covers! — Functionality allowing you to service the plane and reset any failures We are at a point where we can finally post regular updates about the aircraft. We won't drop an estimated release date as it hasn't worked out the past 32 times for us, but let's say we can see the finish line now. That's all for this weekend!
May 1, 20233 yr I think their idea of the release schedule is good. Although I have the Carenado and quite like it now, I would still consider this if it turns out alright. The initial price looks good compared to the C414. Edited May 1, 20233 yr by bobcat999 Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
