But... but.. but.. It's got an EFB?! Isn't that the most important thing of all?!

/Sarcasm off.

Actually the most important thing is you can open the side windows while sitting on the ground and listen to the engine start up noises 🙂

Guys, there are no TACAN beacons in MSFS. It has therefore no function in the plane, since there are no frequencies to dial in. Guess MSFS will stay this way, unless they go hardcore on military stuff, which I don't think they'll do.

But the MSFS SDK has TACAN related variables? I thought that TACAN functionality has been added in SU 7(?) and stations are present at least when you have Navigraph.

It looks better than that A400M payware for sure....

We're talking about two different things.

All I saw from the video linked was a visual model management aspect to the "EFB."

The other "established" developer you're bringing up, offtopic, would be pilloried if their first iteration doesn't have SimBrief integration, Navigraph Charts integration, takeoff and landing performance calculations, and a coterie of other features that the community is assuming have always been standard.

Not defending them, but we have to be making fair comparisons here, and this doesn't seem like one.

Not arguing at all, but seems I noticed a "moving map" display for about 3 seconds, and yes I'm considering this C-160.

Oh I might have missed that, no idea. So disregard my comment

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

If really interested, a download and quick check in the Manual at Poly's website, you can find a few options for autopilot navigation, including altitude.

Once complete I suspect it will have a pretty complete AP, but at the moment it's very limited (and I can't seem to turn off ALT hold once it's been turned on)

The heavy and sturdy C-130 Hercules was my absolute favorite in FSX. Flying it always gave the feeling of a mighty beast with a deep roar.

Will buy and try this one and hope to find back that sturdy feeling and deep sound.

You will, it feels heavy and the sound is awesome, combined with FSRealistic...

Besides that it has an extremely short landing distance so I will try it now in Papua !

The first videos  I saw show a surprising nimbleness like easily correcting an overshoot from base to final. I wonder... but, then again, I don't know what the aircraft load was. If you want to exercise your skill, do a Sarajevo landing 🙂
