May 11, 20233 yr Well I bought the Asobo ATR a couple of days ago It loaded up rather nicely but when i spun up the engines and released the barking brake nothing happened...the plane failed to take-off...or move down the runway...confession: i have the freeware ATR in my hanger, but that shouldn't matter, or should it? Any help appreciated... John Helms

May 12, 20233 yr i have this problem sometimes also before takeoff when i turn of the parking brake before entering the runway after press ctrl + p later some system of the aircraft freeze and don't react like the throttles or parking brake the only way i found to reduce this is use only the mouse to turn on the parking break.
May 12, 20233 yr Perhaps your in-game flight model is set to "Legacy"? Note that after you have changed it to "Modern", a restart of MSFS is needed, to implement the change. Edited May 12, 20233 yr by Reader

Are you sure, that accidently set it to "Active Pause" or something? I (was an word not allowed) did this once (in the Fenix), and was confused, as the sounds continue and you can move round the cockpit, but the systems freeze and won't react to input or changes. I'm embarrased to say, that it took me awhile to figure this out... 🙂 Edited May 12, 20233 yr by anden145 Best regards,--Anders Bermann-- ____________________Scandinavian VAPilot-ID: SAS2471

May 12, 20233 yr Author Thanks to everyone who responded...the correct answer is the prop conditioner was not set properly....needed to be full ahead...it was not so set...now to figure out to set it for fully operational upon takeoff... John Helms

John Helms As mentioned, you probably want to seek out at least the Asobo tutorial videos. The airplane is pretty particular and they're quite quick but informative.
