Yes.  I am sick of it.  Can't wait for people to start saying they don't see it, so it must be your setup!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

There has been a long thread on the Offical forum running for several months now

https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/aerial-ground-tiles-changing-popping-in/547197/370

I think that that's the issue. Observed it in a few places including Tarbes in France myself.

The Balcan seems to be especially affected.

No comment from MS or Asobo so far. Not mentioned in the latest Q&A, they did not even dare to ask😒

Kind regards, Michael

I've just experience this recently - ground tiles updating/popping in, as you say a long official thread but Asobo are quiet....it sounds like lots of people are experiencing it...

Could someone please circle the impacted areas so that I know what to look for on my own system.

Yes, I am that person, @bobcat999

Cheers.

Try this:

Pretty much any part of the island of Corsica when you're below 1500' AGL. The tiles take on a yellow hue.

One thing that's bothered me from day one is a tiling issue with major highways, looks and behaves the same as the rest of the landscape tiling problems, especially in the US. I always figured it was just me, but maybe not.

Are you using photogrammetry? If I turn photogrammetry off I will have tiles loading on final into KSNA RWY 20R.  I couldn't believe it.  It doesn't seem to happen everywhere because I had photogrammetry off for a while.

I've never used PG, but I just flew out of KSNA today, and yep, lots of tiling.

The whole adriatic area between Zadar LDZD and Tivat LYTV is affected. You can see it at cruise altitude and even at airport altitude. When flying north the issue stops just before the Alps.

Take off from LFNC in a light aircraft, and as you climb you'll see texture tiles changing/popping as you climb. Never happened until recently. Some theories on the FS forums believe it's the bing map data that's been updated...

One of the worst places I have seen this is the Isle of Man where purple heather textures turn to green as you climb and back to purple as you descend (or maybe the other way around).

Probably the most logical explanation. I've also seen mismatched areas of tiles where you can see a distinct line between the two areas at any altitude, not popping, where the mismatches did not exist before. If it's a Bing issue, there's nothing Asobo can do if it's constantly updated, and this thing might quickly go to hell in a handbasket.

Wow! You are not exaggerating! Just tried a flight from Isle of Man and the textures were a rolling carpet of fluorescent green.

Whatever it is thats wrong seems to be getting worse for me. On every flight now Im seeing texture changes and terrain pop-in where before I had no issues.
