June 25, 20232 yr Is Accusim actually a technology or just bloatware? Like an iPhone with gazillions of features no one actually uses or wants?

Lol far from bloatware, it's their key common software framework and codebase handling core systems/engine-modelling/flight-model/etc they build specific aircraft on top of... so at the bottom sits the sim, then on top of that sits their AccuSim which is specific to each sim, and then on top of that sits their aircraft specific code which is mostly sim neutral (at least that's their goal). TLDR: As far as we are concerned we will just get the A2A aircraft product add-ons, and their AccuSim code will be in each, but seamless to us. I was attracted by the avionic system and enjoyed it. But I didn't find anything astonishing regarding the flight model but I'm very not a specialist in this area. The A2A C172 for FSX and P3D had the correct procedure for the engine start modelled. That's what Accusim did, already back then. The WB-Sim C172 still hasn't accomplished this. Then try to understand that there is no AccuSim for us to deal with, it is code buried deep within the add-on code. It's a developer's name for their own common code they use between all their aircraft. If you're still clueless, then oh well. But doesn't every high fidelity addon plane have its own code buried deep? Think this is just developers marketing tosh if I'm honest. But we'll see. Honestly no. I'd never heard of A2A before this came up. They didn't do anything for XP as far as I know.
