Honestly no. I'd never heard of A2A before this came up. They didn't do anything for XP as far as I know.

Did you watch the video? As it kind of went into detail what A2A does and nothing in MSFS really quite does it how they do it at the moment currently.

Yes I watched the video. I watch many devs videos. I'll buy it without any doubt given all the fuss. But, coming from XP I've heard it all before. The eulogising about PMDG, Leonardo and now A2A...just saying.

I will. I find its best to be pessimistic because then the joy is more profound!😀

Watch some of the older videos as well then. A2A really goes the extra mile, no other GA aircraft addon has ever come close and it seems they're raising the bar again.

Cheers, Bert

BS……

I found you In a A2A thread from january, and im sure I can dig you up from others threads tooo… You can pretend all you want of not ever heard of A2A before, but anyone care to look will find you probably in all A2A threads there is on this forum.

But ill give you that, your trolling is pretty good, since you always seem to get away with it.

People have been at them for years to bring out some of their stuff in XPlane but until XPlane 12 came along but they were not really interested.

They announced recently they are investigating the possibility of bringing out some XPlane addons eventually.

You should be careful before you sling mud around! I repeat; before this plane was announced I'd never heard of A2A or commented about them. I have also never bought or seen a video of anything by A2A.I certainly  had no idea I was meant to bow low at the very mention of their name. Search away. Sorry if it hurts your feelings to say that most of the world hasn't heard of A2A either.

Yeah, I should be careful, who wants to get eaten by a troll… Hurt my feelings?,,takes more than this:p.

This time you tought accusim is bloatware, in that other thread you found the commanche to be an odd choice of airplane, whats next…

@Kaboki I'd never heard of A2A either other then stuff in this forum about this plane in development, please respect that not everyone knows every single developer ever in the history of flight simulation.

Not all of us have been here since the 1980s taking notes of every tiny detail 😉

You dont see my point, he claimed he never heard of a2a before this…(thread). Then you will find him in a thread about a2a from january….  I have no problem that people havent heard about a2a, it was the way he said it, and that was a lie, when he clearly have heard about them many months ago…

Jarmstro I a well known troll at the xplane.org forums…. Heck, even hes avatar should trigger the alarm:p

Yes going back to topic this plane does look incredibly detailed, as someone else mentioned it may be too "study level" for my skill level but it certainly would be good to learn eventually.

Study level has different meanings.

It may imply the need of absorbing huge technical manuals to master the automation of a complex aircraft.

A2A birds are another kind of study level. It is the « Do it right or else » kind. The search for perfection in the background simulation makes improper handling,  engine and fuselage wear & tear and stress, a danger for your flight. You don’t have to learn anything but to respect your aircraft.

Many of the A2A aficionados regret that they didn’t venture into the turbine and jet territories (at least for the consumer market). The good thing is that they have really mastered the piston engines.
