June 26, 20232 yr That's great! Of all the Aerosoft-releated developers, Jo Erlend is the only one to trust to get a fantastic rendition. As Aerosoft (allegedly) has exclusivity rights to go airside at EDDF for pre-development research, they were always going to be the only competent developer for this project. Do you have a source for this claim? Seriously, Fraport AG gave Aerosoft the exclusive rights to take pretty pictures of the tarmac, planes, and terminals? So, if a developer, using Google Earth, Google maps, pictures, etc. to recreate this airport, Mr. Kok's lawyers are going to come visit?

It has been claimed that AS has an agreement that only they are permitted to go airside to undertake research work. Given that the better quality developers usually only develop airport scenery for those airports where they have access themselves or to the people who work airside, rather than rely on photos from the internet, AS (apparently) has a defacto monopoly on making a good recreation. Ask yourself why in nearly 3 years, no other developer (FeelThere abomination aside) has attempted to take on one of the World's most important hubs, despite being located in a country which has the second or third largest number of flight simmers. June 26, 20232 yr It’s definitely an airport that needed some love in the sim and will be a great addition when released.
