But centering TrackIR does not reset the lateral translation with the arrow keys. So you should be fine just using the arrows and then TrackIR only for takeoff / landing.

Not needed just have more camera views with TIR pretty simple 😉

I use TrackIR so ok looks like options are limited to arrow keys or centre it slightly off centre, which is a shame because you centre the camera subconsciously like 10 times a minute.

As a TrackIR user, the advice in this topic is spot on.

What I did was pause TrackIR and use the MSFS camera control to set my view up so that I could see all of the HUD clearly. I then saved it as a custom camera view on Alt 1. Now everytime it drifts I press left Alt 1 and I get the best HUD view without fail.

Someone posted in this thread that there are camera presets included so you may want to check those out, but I just used my own method. Good luck!

Yeah I know I I can do all this, just don't like being off centre on the Yoke, but that's my OCD problem !  Cool thanks

It was probably a joke on Facebook about the model.cfg but is there any way to adjust the wingflex on this bird. Seems very extreme.

It's a nice plane with a few oddities, had a strange level off on mid descent, no alt constraints or anything of note. just levelled off and I had to disengage and re-engage VNAV to get it going again. The odd bank angle warning and AP disconnect warning (but no actual disconnect) on approach. It's a nice job though and with continued work it can be great.

Just did a long haul and had none of that. My only mistake not setting a decent descent speed. Did have my first CTD just when I was about to push just gave me a flightsim.exe error but besides that worked well.

You mean how much the wings are bent during flight? That‘s realistic actually. It‘s the reason why it‘s the 787 is so quiet.

And no, you cannot adjust it.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Yeah it depends what you actually mean - Although someone has released this mod to adjust the wingflex: https://flightsim.to/file/57692/kuro-787-8-wingflex-mod that may be of your interest.

Thanks for the link. I will give this a try.
The bend in the wings in flight was not what was bothering me, it was  the way they just seem to flop around during taxi and turbulence that seemed unreal. Looking forward to trying this. Apparently the creator thought the same thing.

If I remember my 787-9 flight correctly it flapped its wings quite a lot during Taxi in Tokyo, but that was generally a bumpy ride on the ground...

i did a few shorts  1-2 hours flights and at takeoff i feel like the rotation is very fast like the aircraft rise the nose before reach V1 without use the joystick is this normal?

Not normal. Check your trim settings and calculations.
