I wouldn't expect a free upgrade, I'm perfectly willing to pay a fee (as I do for a new P3D version). And I'm certainly not alone.

For what it’s worth I’ve posted on Parallel 42 Facebook page expressing my disappointment. Let’s see if I get anything different to the stock reply.

They requested access to the MSFS Camera SDK and didn’t receive a reply. So no CP for that sim and none for the latest version of P3D. They appear to be in a unique position regarding CP.

Well, so far, I have sold 100 times more units in MSFS (thru my own products + all the stuff I work in partnership with others) than all the products combined in P3D since 2017.. and as I said, in the last 5 months P3D sales are zero.. do the maths!

Indeed, and P3D users are not the majority.. and from that subset, most people prefer to have free updates.. it makes very little sense to people to pay for a simple port of a product, most of the time they expect improvements in order to see value for the update. Putting resources to create products new features would increase the workload and given the status of the market we would not see any ROI in that.

Sorry chaps, is just the way it is.. LM failed to provide a platform where a reasonable size of the market would stay current and investing on the ecosystem.

The fact that you make less money in P3D market is not a reason for you to leave it. What's most interesting is why you won't work the both markets. You don't know for how long P3D will be the smaller market. Same goes for //42, which are even greedy than us. 

You guys both greedy. I don't see a reason to buy products from greedy people that jump out from our market for no reason. That's my point. 

And when it comes to inflation, let me tell you something - I live in the most corrupted state in EU - Bulgaria. Here prizes are worse than UK. And I am not joking. Not to mention I pay 20 % state fee on all products I buy. Which is not the case with UK I am sure. You wanna talk finance - users are financed troubled just as you if not worse. And we still supported you guys no matter what.

There is only one thing I don't understand: where did the x times more product buyers come from? where were they? how? were they frozen in FS9? FSX? FSX Steam? came from XP? 100 times? 1000 times? 1 million times more?!?

I am part of the millions of MSFS users just because I tested the program with GamePass... but I stopped using it ages ago.

The UK has a 20% VAT rate on products we buy - So no you aren't alone. But your post accusing people of being greedy is disgusting.

@Ray Proudfoot you've got to do something about this bloke - he's out of control. After @simbol politely explains his situation, old mate @PavlinShere has the tenacity to tell him that he's greedy and making money is not a reason for him to stop.

You clearly didn’t read his earlier post. Here’s what he posted… “Let's give you all some perspective, in the last 5 months I have sold 0 (that is right, zero) units of my products for P3D. P3D V6 has changed all the effects formats, this means I have to sit now for about 3 to 5 months porting products for V6, what is my incentive to work 5 months to get zero extra income?”

Your post is quite offensive. Not for the first time. Think before you post and consider if what you’ve written is appropriate. I’ve not hidden it because Simbol may decide to reply to it.

You can see where I am sitting now.. you all now I have supported P3D very hard, for many years.. I always updated anything supper quick and at no cost to any customer since 2017. We are in 2023, that's 6 years of ongoing updates.. but I cannot afford now doing it for P3D V6.. is not personal, is how life has turned out, I have a family to feed, simple as that.

You fail to read my previous posts.. I am not making any money at all from P3D. Lots of people here knows me very well for many years in the past, calling me greedy because I want to feed my family shows you are in a mind set where we will be unable to have a valid exchange of views.

I understand P3D users position and your position, and I am not dismissing your feelings, but you are failing to understand mine.. no business is going to work at a loss.. just like no employee in the world would like to work for free. Imagine your boss coming to you tomorrow asking to work 6 months in updating all your work and telling you, sorry but we cannot pay you for this work.

FSReborn is not a charity, it needs to run a healthy business or it would disappear, causing worse issues, for example I would not be able to support all the customers on V4 and V5 if I have to close it tomorrow. BTW I do run a charity, www.flylillo.com, I am the board of director of this charity, we work closely with Microsoft and a proportion of my MSFS sales goes towards the organization to help people with incapacities, if I have to hear I am greedy because I want to stay alive to keep helping others, so be it.

No, they don't. They can work both markets, with no problem. This is what I would done. No matter how small market P3D is. To me does not matter where I make my money, to me matters to bring the best I can possibly bring towards all the people interested. This threads is just another proof that there is still P3D users interested.
