July 6, 20232 yr Just released in the weekly update. World Update 14 and Local Legend 11 on July 25. City Update 4 and Local Legend 12 on August 23 (this is the same day as the opening of Gamescom. Maybe another pass at Germany?) Sim Update 13 and Local legend 13 on September 21 (same day as the start of Tokyo Game Show... I'd honestly KILL for a good NAMC YS-11 as the Local Legend) World Update 15 and Local Legend 14 on October 24 Prepare for more vintage flying boats 😉 Edited July 7, 20232 yr by Abriael Editor-in-Chief at SimulationDaily.com

July 7, 20232 yr Not too excited about SU 13 on Sept 21 (... excluding futher delay). There are a number of issues (not only, but including VR-related) waiting for months to be resolved now, only to name ground texture morphing and broken PG in Canadian Cities. Avionics are fine, World Updates are fine, Local Legends are fine, but the core sim needs more attention. MHO, of course. Unless you mean that you want it earlier, but world updates and local legends don't interfere with the development of sim updates, as they're made by completely different teams. So it's coming when it can realistically be delivered. It's not like the teams working on other content can sit on their rears and twiddle their thumbs until the engineers working on the core sim are done. Nor they can help, as they're completely different disciplines. A sim update also requires extensive beta testing, and we're less than 3 months away from September 21. July 7, 20232 yr Thats a bummer SU13 got pushed back that far. Was hoping the 787 would get simbrief import amongst other fixes shorter than 3 months after release. 9800x3d | 64GB DDR5 6000 Ram |MSI Gaming Trio OC 5090 @ 3.0GHZ | X870e Mag Tomahawk | 2x 2TB M.2 | Lian LI Dynamic XL ROG Case | Hotas Warthog Joystick and Throttle, Crosswind Rudder Pedals | Corsair Nightblade | K95 RGB| | LG 28" 4k, Dell 34" AW3420DW Ultrawide| Windows 10 Pro | MSFS2024 | Custom Water Loop |
July 7, 20232 yr Maybe they pushed back Sim Update 12 because they need more beta testing time. If Sim Update 12 were going to be released in August, it's already pretty tight for beta testing since it's almost past the first week of July. July 7, 20232 yr How long has the beta period been for the last couple of sim updates? My recollection is about four weeks. Kael Oswald 9950X3D/ 64GB DDR5 6200 @ CL30 / Custom Water Loop / RTX 5090 / 3 x 48" LG C4 OLEDs

Asobo/MS has most likely shifted their priorities to this new sim iteration, & it actually makes sense for them to do so, but there will probably be tweaks to the 2020 version when it makes sense…
