He has a logical point, though. Aamir himself said the flight model leaves to be desired and it will be much improved in V2. So how does that fit with the 8000 hour captain saying the Fenix V1 is mostly on point in regards to that? I guess both are exaggerating to prove their point, as usual on the internet.

Just proves a point that a 737 FO who’s not even type rated shouldn’t be calling flight model **** and slating many developers out there. I don’t see him berating the 737, if he did then he’d be up and down how it cannot fly on autopilot single engine. It simply won’t fly well but since he’s self proclaimed “PMDG Tech Team” and makes sure to say it in every video to make himself seem like his words have value, he won’t criticize it like this. His arrogance is astounding, double standards are deeply rooted and ultimately does not care about the community, let alone the hard work that the Fenix group have put in.

There’s only one party that’s made an exaggerated claim. Who’s the other you speak of?

I picked up the Fenix again for the first time in months and did a couple landings in heavy, quartering crosswinds and forgot just how bad it handles that situation. I know Fenix is already on top of solving that particular issue, aka working around Asobo's lack of attention to this area since MSFS was released. But I've never stepped foot in the cockpit of an A320 and I know it's wrong, so I don't know why anyone, type rating or not, is acting like it doesn't have significant issues.

I don't think it will fizzle out to a degree. Its two pilots making a point yes but one not type rated so to speak(still going through training) compared to one that is. Its more of an ego thing. Like Alpha said berating someone in form of (do you have a type rating) speaks a thousand words that little line. Imagine saying that before establishing his facts. He does not need to have a type rating he could of been on the aircraft before retiring or what ever. 

Respect works both ways at the end of the day.

So how long is this one going to continue to stay open since its just full of nonsense fanboyism or not at this point? If you don't like Fenix just park it until V2 comes out. Another well know developer treads gets locked for people simply asking for a EFB.

WGAS. 737ngdriver and Aamir decided to take the convo to PMs. So that's resolved. Now it's just a catfight between two YouTubers? Again, WGAS. A true touchgrass moment for all involved. Including me... why do I keep replying? Time to find another way to waste my Saturday. 

Trying to get back on topic.

Aamir's comments about large portions of the Flight Model, displays, and FlyByWire systems moving into beta and entering a refinement stage is very good news.
