Aamir, your post surprises me. I send you two support tickets and that single one discord message.
One of the supporttickets is unanswered to this date, on discord you took over a week to reply. The other supportticket ended with "we'll escalate it" and I never heared back.

Emi, after your video and your response to @Aamir’s neutral and unaggressive response I have only this to say to you.

“Not impressed with you or your thoughts on aviation anymore. Not really interested in anything you have to say.”  Be that as it may you have dug yourself a deep enough hole here it will probably be a long time before your comments or thoughts are held up in esteem.

Best,

-B

Pretty sure hes talked about the engine stuff being off which will be re worked in the engine modelling they are doing. Maybe I'm wrong but thought I saw VNAV is not the best even in the real thing. You should know that streams will not always be watched so why don't you email or even send him a PM on Discord or create a support ticket on the discord where they are very active. You are in the discord after all unless its someone else using you're name?

Dang it, I am fresh out of coffee and popcorn.

I replied to the section where Aamir specifically talked about feedback from livestreams, please read it within the context I wrote it.

I have. This is the internet so not always able to gain the context you would like. You said you sent support tickets but apparently did not answer back too. You have a discord where you could easily get communication from the Fenix server.

So you're saying you deliberately ignore the context and just try to troll?
Okay, then I at least know I don't have to invest energy anymore into replying to you.

So what about all those streams where I did give such feedback?
Like the plane descending much too fast at 250kt and IDLE thrust below FL100?
Like the approach N1 being too little?
Like VNAV descend profiles being off?
Like the planes delayed and unnatural response to sidestick input?
How about my RNAV approach where the plane just got me in 2000ft too high?
If you say you didn't recieve any usable feedback from me, then I'd love to know which of my Airbus streams you watched? Plenty of feedback in any. Just no update around to adress any of them.
But as said earlier, what's the use to write up all those bugreports, when the version you're on is 9 months newer than mine and probably totally different?
Get us an update and I'll be happy to get you some feedback on that update.

It's a £50 home sim for heavens sake! And the Fenix is £50! Both suit me just fine. Why on earth a real life robot pilot wishes to come home from work and then pretends he's back at work on his PC I find utterly incomprehensible!

Oh dear if you think I am trolling. I really don't know what to say. Your tone is uncalled for, community really seeing what you are like now.

You sent support tickets off they did not reply. You sent a PM I can take from what you wrote but took over a week to reply. You should know he receives a lot of private messages and I guess goes through each one. Things get lost in translation, tickets get lost.... You go on about the feedback you said in streams like N1 etc. He has commented on that in Discord numerous amount of times.

You have not sent a single thing in the Fenix discord if you did then things could be different and more improved

Wow, this thread really went weird.. I agree with the people finding Emi's (? assuming that's the right name) responses being a little.. over the top? Not sure what it is, maybe I'm misreading, but I'm not feeling like checking out his channel after reading some of the responses.

@737NG Driver, no offense, but it sounds like you're kinda angry with Fenix or something like that. You may be perfectly justified, you may not.. but in this discussion forum it's striking a discordant note and not presenting you in the best light.

The challenge is, the v2 update fixes a lot of issues, but until it is released folks have issues and the frustration will only grow. It has affected my enjoyment of the product knowing that an issue I have will be addressed in v2, but I don't know how long it will take. Reading into Aamir's post about key components just going into wider testing, we are easilly several months from v2.

We will very likely hit a year between software updates for the Fenix.

Those "Thank you for the 5-dollar super chat"s add up 🙂

Can’t use the victim card calling people contradicting your false reality. You said you used your livestream as a platform for bug reporting which is not a useful method of providing feedback. I strongly suggest you get back in line with the community before you get cast wayward and end up without any connections just simply because you think you’re bigger than you are.

Indeed, the support ticket proviso is that we will get back to you if we need more info - but otherwise, it's goes into the work tracker, someone checks it out - and if the report is enough, it will be actioned and closed, unfortunately the volume of tickets we are generally unable to give people play-by-plays on the ticket's status, but everything is seen and put in the right place, then prioritised. If more info is needed, as mentioned, we get back to people and go back and forth to try and figure it out. Re Discord, yes, it took a week - my DMs are quite frantic at the best of times, but I did make an effort to get back to you - I see and read everything, and like I said before, you're welcome to throw me a message, it may take a couple of days but I always endeavour to respond, especially if it's something you'd like to work on! 🙂

I did not say any usable feedback, I said that the piece of feedback being clipped is unusable. It's important to make a distinction between subjective and objective issues. The 5 things you mentioned are objective issues. Quantitatively wrong. So we fixed them! 4 out of 5 things you've listed have indeed been fixed, so it is indeed useful to point out, because we do see them on streams, reported in discord, bug reports, etc. But then when it comes to subjective feedback, or qualitative feedback - the sort you delivered in the clip, some more detail is appreciated - we can't quite do much about "word not allowed" and "garbage", but if there are handflying qualities you can pick out that you'd like to see different, we can always have a discussion about it and see where we get. Like I said before, Emi, my discord DMs are open and you know where to find them, throw me over some of your findings, and if you're game, drop me a message and I'd be happy to send you over the latest beta with the new FM in it, we're in a refinement phase now, and it's a good time to get some constructive critique in!

What I do, when I fly an aircraft that I don't enjoy flying anymore, I just park it in the hangar, and fly something else.
