A2A Simrate issue?

I am testing out again. I just don't remember the 250 being slow in PD3D, so it very well could be just my judgment. Thanks

You are aware the Comanche speed is in MPH, right? 150 MPH is 130 knots.

Did I not say that already in this thread.  😄 🙃 With the obligatory smileys of course 🤠

I also have an app called SimRate Bandit which verbally calls out your simrate when you change it.

You did, guess I missed it. But I see he upvoted your comment so he is aware of that now, if he wasn't before. I'm out of ideas then.

Sorry for starting a firestorm. My only point is that it seems the 250 SLOW when landed and it does not when taking off. Thanks for the help with the sim rate but it does show 1X.

It's a bit late, totally unnecessary and just rude.
Thanks for your effort though.

always funny how people cannot enjoy some jokes..some are wayyy to serious here.

and yuo wasted time also, lol

To be a joke a smiley emoji is really needed.  Without the emoji it can seem like sarcasm.

Well, I have to say, that I too experienced this yesterday while approaching Duxford. There was quite a moderate headwind, but nevertheless, even with an approach speed of 120 mph it certainly felt faaaar slower than, what, 90mph over the ground? I also noticed the other day in the Comanche, it seemed like I was crossing the ground like a jet! So perhaps there is something in the OP observations, I suspect there could be, because I have never experienced this in nay other aircraft.

Pretty much what I experienced as well with out the jet speed.

I have not experienced that phenomenon but it’s not uncommon for pito tube to freeze . I do pick carb ice quite often in A2A Comanche . Just wondering if you guys throw pito heat on to see if speed changes ?

I am not using VR just a flat screen. Why does it seem that the Commanche is very slow across the ground even though airspeed shows 150 or so. Also on final it seems very slow but airspeed looks correct. Just wondering if it is just me. The plane simply astonishing....

You are not alone, I get the same feeling.

I use Avliasoft EFB which measure ground speed, TAS, and IAS.  Speeds are spot on.

I also have Avliasoft and get the same results but the movement across the ground is what I am saying is off. It shows a speed of 100 120 etc. but the perception is much slower.

To me, having made many hundreds of approaches in a real aircraft at similar speeds, the movement across the groiund looks pretty realistic. I think some are comparing out it looks with the tubeliners they have been flying with Vref speeds of 130Knots.

True, I have had carb icing in the Comanche, the early symptom being reduced speed and manifold pressure.
