July 27, 20232 yr Does anyone know the grand total size for this version if every module, region, and updates are installed? Thank you. Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

Most users report somewhere between 165GB and 200GB once all updates etc are installed . I assume the difference are in things like whether rolling cache is enabled ? Regardless, allow about 250GB as even if it is still under 200GB right now it is going to keep getting bigger.
July 27, 20232 yr Around 250GB. I can't tell you excactly because I on the one hand have only the Premium Version on the other have installed a few extra aircraft and scenery through the marketplace. Although not that much, so that I assume the difference is marginal

I have the Premium Deluxe and the total size of the MSFS packages (the "official" folder) with all the world updates and only the aircraft included for free, is 306 GB. 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber
July 27, 20232 yr Premium Deluxe here too plus all world updates. Circa 300GB for me as well. This plus other regular apps on my C drive cramping my free space prompted me to recently upgrade from the 500gb M2 drive my PC shipped with to a 2TB item. Had some trepidation doing that but I used Samsung Data Migration Tool to move everything across w/o having to reinstall anything. Worked a treat. Bags of room now.
July 27, 20232 yr Understand you do not need to keep all of the world updates installed. Only the regions you plan to fly. The WU's you do not install -or- uninstall, are there in the online Content Manager ready for installation at any time. Takes only a brief few minutes. I only have 4 of them currently installed. Frank Patton Corsair 5000D Airflow Case; MSI B650 Tomahawk MOB; Ryzen 7 7800 X3D CPU; ASUS RTX 4080 Super; NZXT 360mm liquid cooler; Corsair Vengeance 64GB DDR5 4800 MHz RAM; RMX850X Gold PSU;; ASUS VG289 4K 27" Display; Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo, Crosswind 3's w/dampener. July 27, 20232 yr My Steam Standard version "Official" folder with all the WU installed is 287 GB . So Premium DeLuxe should be around 350 GB. I manage the "Community" with Addon Linker which would bring another 100 GB, I suppose. May 21, 20242 yr The default install size is 162GB. This is not including downloading and installing any of the additional 'Content manager' stuff once the default install is installed. The additional content is another 225GB. The is the premium Deluxe store variant. Just completed a clean install after adding a 4TB nVME drive. May 26, 20242 yr The raw sim with only America and Canada World Update (and of course the typical patches and small goodies like the FlyByWire and GitHub system overhaul releases) is only 102 gigabytes. But more packed with finest stuff is the community folder with 838gb 😉 so better get some good 2TB NVMe because 1TB is not enough when having used the sim for some time.
May 26, 20242 yr I have about 30 add on airports and my Premium Deluxe install is now at 484GB. i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.

May 26, 20242 yr I have a 1TB NVME just for MSFS and I have around 420 GB, so lots of room left over. I don't load it up with aftermarket airports. however.
May 27, 20242 yr A 1 TB drive not big enough for my community and official content. Flightsim.to has a map page. All airoports near where I fly are installed is the reason for all that data. Why should I not drop them into community? They are better than the default even if not up to payware standards. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
