Wow, yea, I was waiting for FSimStudios too but at this price I may just go ahead and pull the plug. I have been wanting CYUL since the sim was launched and have grown tired of waiting. For me who also does not care much for interiors the BMWorld one looks great.

They added the interior in the latest update. Even a few animated people can be seen behind glass at night. But I'm still going to buy and test FSimStudios.

Also got it. Though price to beat. Will keep it unless FSImStudio is better, whenever it comes out.

I was impressed by the hit on the frame rate. Really did not notice much of a difference.

Montreal is not the prettiest airport in the world, but its very well done and for me its home so...I like it.

After their refusal to fix the problems that was sent to them on KDAB, I won’t be buying anything from them again.

Yeah, noticet they put a few extra people by the terminals.  They still did a nice job of the airport, and its a definite BUY!!

Based on a post by FSimStudios on their discord it looks like their version will be a bit longer.  The post was a bit cryptic (I understand they don’t want to share everything for competitive reasons).  My two takeaways were that the project is now more complicated with two other CYUL releases but it’s not cancelled.

I did end up buying the Amsim version last night and it’s decent, will certainly do the job but I’ll likely be upgrading to the FSimStudios version when the time comes.

Anyone else have issues with the Amsim version with AI aircraft taxiing oddly?  I had a few backtracking on 24R for departure (rather than using the adjacent taxiway) and then getting stuck about halfway down the runway.

I will continue waiting for their release but I have to say,  based on the Discord post, I have a gnawing feeling that things do not bode well for a FSimstudios CYUL. I hope I'm wrong.

I am seeing the same thing with the BMW/Amsim version of CYUL when AI taxi for runway 24R. I have even seen an AI at the Air Transat hangar (next to 24R) being assigned 24L for departure and taxi all around the airport in an illogical path to get there. Something is not right with the taxi paths.

Other than that and the lack of "heavy" gates, the scenery does the job for my needs until FSimstudios releases theirs.

The BMWorld/AMSim CYUL is on sale for 50% off at iniBuilds. I picked it up as it's less than $10 now. Really stupid not to at that price.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with BMworld/Amsim?  Do they have a discard?  I couldn’t find an email address.

I’d like to send my feedback about the afcad file as there are a number of issues holding back an otherwise very nice airport.

With the other one delayed, I figured even if junk, it's less than $10 to tied me over.

With the delay by FSS, I also went for the BMWorld/AMSim version given the price they were offering and to be honest I am quite happy with it; unlikely I will purchase another Montreal.
