August 31, 20232 yr After years my PFC yoke has given up. My options now are the Yoko or the Brunner CLS-E? Tempted to go for the Brunner as it'll probably be a much better experience with GA in MSFS with proper flight models. Pricing is just about the same. Anyone have any experience with either in MSFS - and specifically with the Brunner in MSFS?
August 31, 20232 yr I would like to know as well. I'm still rocking my Microsoft force feedback 2 stick (the one with the large base)...just over 20 years now! But I've always wanted a yoke... August 31, 20232 yr I have the YOKO+ and couldn't be happier, it has butter smooth motions and it is very easy to make fine control changes with it. I haven't try the Brunner, but I would like to. August 31, 20232 yr I bought the Brunner first (CLS-NG) but now use a Yoko+. I’ve explained why in this post: I’m happy to answer any questions around this. I buy them on Ebay just in case I have a stick failure. Can't fly without it. Stan

I have the same joystick, but none of the FFB solutions worked the way I would really like. What do you use? 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

I'm using XPForce. Although it's not nearly as good as Russell Dirk's FSForce software that I use in P3d v5 (v6 will NOT support force feedback), it is getting better every week. I keep getting updates to it frequently when I first turn on MSFS. It's slowly getting there, and some day either XPForce or something else will replace it because there seems to be a real MSFS contingent that is asking about Force Feedback all the time in the forums. August 31, 20232 yr I use a Fulcrum and am very impressed with it. In some respects it is better than the much more expensive Yoko. I believe Fulcrum may be struggling to get their new throttle assembly shipped in a timely manner but I think the Fulcrum Yokes are still shipping oK. Edited August 31, 20232 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick

I also have the Fulcrum yoke and agree it is excellent, but my understanding is nothing has been shipping from Fulcrum for many months, and there has been essentially no communication with Chris, the owner, for quite a long time as well. Suggest one check carefully before purchasing. Currently a very unfortunate situation all around IMO. See https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/634653-status-of-fulcrum-and-orders/page/6/#comments If things hopefully improve and the Fulcrum TQ starts shipping, I plan to purchase one. Spend a few minute minutes in the Fulcrum subforum before deciding to spend money there...doesn't appear to be anything shipping right now. September 1, 20232 yr Holy schnikes the yoko isn't cheap. I feel like I don't want to spend that much unless I'm doing a full cockpit build . I was in the same boat with a very tight budget. Fulcrum would have been my choice but the delivery situation is lets call it sub optimal (but I understand the problems behind). So I went the Honeycomb alpha xpc way and quite happy with it. It may not compete with the top league but the new version is at least for me a joy having left the crappy ole Saitek years ago and flying sticks only for long (TCA and Sidewinder FF2). Cheers T.

Ray Proudfoot has a good rep for honesty, and if he says he's talked to Chris at Fulcrum and understands what's going on, and that it doesn't involve stealing money, I'm inclined to believe him. Plus, I already have a Fulcrum yoke, and there's no way this thing was designed by a fly-by-night guy out to rip people off. It's just too well-made. I'd hate to see this company go under, because it's hands down the nicest piece of sim hardware I have, including my Crosswind pedals. It's the only yoke I'd buy other than the Brunner - honestly, FFB would be nice but isn't worth the significant price premium over the Fulcrum to me.
