World Updates are in the marketplace not the content manager, which is what bobcat said.

Worth pointing out that for some users on SU14 beta, such as myself, the assistance reset has not occurred whatsoever.  I'm on SU14, I can see everything else that people are referring to (such as the return of the intermittant spinning circle) but my assistance settings have not changed or been reset once.   I read somewhere on the official forum (and perhaps here) that it may be related to the quantity or type of content in the Community folder.   Mine is kept very light.   I don't buy scenery or airports (nor use freeware scenery or airports) other than one single product:  Orbx GB Central (landmarks).  My Community folder on any given MSFS launch tends to have around 5 items in it;  the plane I'm about to fly, Orbx GB Central, Axis&Ohs and (sometimes) the TDS GTN750Xi.

I don't know if I'm in a quiet majority (I doubt it), or a tiny lucky few, but again, the assistance settings reset does not and has not ever occurred for me on SU14 beta.

I'm just pointing this out as some parts of this conversation are making it sound like it's a universal inevitability, when using SU14 beta.

I'm not sure about other changes to ATC, but I have noticed on SU14 that further altitude climb clearances are given by ATC much sooner.    Eg. ATC have me climbing to 8,000,  I get to about 6,000 now and get the next clearance (say, to 12,000).  It's so much better and the previous depiction of not getting your next climb instruction until you're just about levelling out has been around since at least FS9..... so awesome that this has finally been improved!

Yeah, it seems to be related with how much content we have in the community folder. If I empty a bit more than half of my community folder content, the settings never reset. Some people say they still have it with an empty community folder but those were having the issue already before SU14, so their case is different.

I agree, the bad thing is that they seem to have forgotten to do the same for descent phase and the clearances are still given 250ft to 500ft before reaching the last clearance. 

Five su14 flights with no assistance resets. Installed wu15 and content manager items. Rebooted. First flight my assistance settings were reset. Only community folder item is better bravo lights mod.

No. Still in flight after it occurred. Have to see how I installed better bravo lights. Took it out of community folder to do an update a few updates ago. When I started msfs got a pop-up saying better bravo lights needed to download files and proceed to replace the folder I took out of the community folder. I decided to be lazy and have just left it alone. I like the mod and it has not been a problem for me. If my settings change the next time I fly I will investigate the mod and try without.

somehow there is obviously some sort of relation between the number of Community addons and the ASSISTANCE bug. I have now removed all except 3 entries, and all ASSISTANCE settings were still ok as I had left them in the previous session. will see how it goes, since some have reported problem even with empty COMMUNITY.

Not so sure. I'm currently (and usually) running 119 different items in the Community folder and only ever have to reset the Assistance settings when a new build of the beta comes out. And for some reason it changes Full Screen mode to Windowed. I have payware and freeware aircraft and sceneries, various libraries for the sceneries, aircraft and system mods, POIs and AI traffic put there thru Addon Linker.

I'd look at individual addons to find the problem.

as I said: "somehow" - it has happened to users with and without any addon in the Community. I hope we'll soon find out.

I think this beta is supposed to tone down snow and ice coverage in live weather; are users seeing more realistic coverage? Not particularly interested in exploring the new WU if it’s just gonna be snow everywhere as it is currently.

I had that happen once, but it did not repeat. Try starting again and see what happens,
