November 17, 20232 yr When I look at my plane in the spot view, it always looks like it's too bright and the colors are washed out. What settings can I use to chsange this? Gnacino
November 17, 20232 yr If this pic is supposed to show washed-out colors, I have no idea what you are talking about. Edited November 17, 20232 yr by cobalt

November 17, 20232 yr A faded color is a color that has bleached. On your image there are no colors that are faded. You are mistaken, the colours are not faded but slightly overexposed. It is not the same thing. I just don't see the over-exposure.
November 18, 20232 yr Fly around mid day in June in the northern hemisphere or December in the Southern hemisphere. That's when the lighting is best. You van also adjust your colour, saturation, brightness and contrast in your monitor settings or graphics card settings. Personally, since I have been using HDR, I've always found the clouds washed out and the ground too dark whatever I do. November 18, 20232 yr Takeoff and get to cruising altitude and go to external view. The over saturation has been a thing since day 1 in this sim. Strangely that is when I find things look the worst, I get over saturated colours giving a cartoon like appearance. If I go to late afternoon/early morning things look far more realistic. Perhaps its very dependent on hardware and setting?
