and try to be honest: "it is currently incompatible with SU14 beta".

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

Sure wish ZOOM would work in VR, kinda hard to read the tablet and switches on the copilot side of the plane. Almost every other plane I own has the ability to focus (zoom) on things that are a little hard to see otherwise, it's so important to me that I have a thumb switch on my Alpha yoke bound to the focus feature. I hope the developer watches these forums and gets some ideas from them. GREAT plane other than a few bugs though, I'm pretty happy with it, even with the latest BETA.....

can you not define custom cameras with the desired close distance?

I can but I think that would reset my cockpit view every time I go back to that view, I would then have to re-arrange my pop-up views every time (navigraph, ATC windows). It's just so nice to have an instant focus view on a momentary switch so when I release that zoom switch my view reverts right back to my original pilot view. Thanks for the suggestion though, I will definitely look more into it. But, as I stated earlier, all of my many add-on planes have this feature built in, some of them took a little while for the developers to add but eventually they did add it (the great Honda Jet was one of them). I'm sure this will be added sooner than later, after all this is a really nice plane, it just wasn't quite ready for release. I am glad they did release it though even with the small teething problems it seems to have.

ROG MAXIMUS X HERO, Intel Core i7 8700K, 32 GB's 3200 RAM, Gigabyte RTX3080,

I bought this, feel like it is not necessarily complete.  The manual lists Green Arc speeds at 176kts KIAS, I see Yellow Arc speeds starting at about 140.  I now see that in the YouTube videos, I did not watch / listen to them all the way through but wondering it that was even caught or mentioned?

Manual also references monitoring CHT in climb, but I do not see it in any of the screens.

Has potential, but little items like that are annoying, esp for the price.  Nice to have eye candy like safety guides in seat pockets, etc, but at least get the basics right...

Not compatible with SU 14? And they still released released it? FSS seems to be specialised in selling half finished addons…

I was nearby to purchase it.

I haven't bought it and may do soon but surely the concerns over SU14 should only apply when that is officially released and the aircraft is not patched to work with it? It's normal for developers to target the current official release given the fluid nature of a beta. It could be that any fix for SU14 would break the aircraft in SU13 hence the need to hold off.

It's certainly a valid argument once SU14 releases though.

SU14 isn't released yet, why wouldn't they release an aircraft that is compatible with the current MSFS version?

all my other aircraft are compatible with SU14 beta, the problem is only caused by their non-standard "custom G1000 workingtitle implementation" whatever that may be.

assuming they may have heard of and be using SU14 beta themselves but didn't manage to adjust their code accordingly in time before release, this is no excuse.but there is a plethora of other quirks/problems.

  • no offline manual
  • autopilot annunciator lights shown in manual, but missing from cockpit
  • stretched/distorted center MFD
  • no way to shut engines off
  • engine sound quirks: "there are a few transitions that don't sound so good, especially the sharp transition to maximum revs - it hits you like a wall of sound! "
  • totally overpowered, accelerates to 100kn on take off at maximum weight in mere seconds
  • "tablet location on the right side and no dedicated view to access it! Very awkward."

Yeah, I agree with you here, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have released it as @PTI139said

they can release whatever they want, as long as they clearly state what works and what doesn't, this is how I understand @pti139. considering that SU14 is ante portas and that many users are already testing it, it is incredible they let the most active, most adventurous of all users standing in the rain. as I said it is the only aircraft I have that doesn't work with SU14 beta.

I found the CHT readout by looking at real world videos, it is the tape gauge second from right in the middle row.  It is labeled in the real world, not is sim, AND, it is ridiculously off - in full power climb in never got over 140 deg, in cruise it was less than 120 deg.

I also noticed that the description in the MSFS Hanger reads for the P2006T, not the 2012.

I fixed the speed readout in the G1000 to have yellow arc start at 176kts, as it appears in the real videos, have not figured out how to fix the standby gauge though.

Hopefully this and the rocket ship performance will all be addressed.  Very rushed and poor attention to detail.

In my opinion, developers, who sell a upper medium priced addon, should anticipate MSFS system updates very early. The mentioning of the non compatibelity in the documentation shows that they do not have a solution for the issues at this time and SU 14 will be released soon.
