The standard of modelling, animations and sounds on this look breathtaking

I didn't buy their P2006 as the real aircraft just doesn't interest me (I love Rotax engines IRL, but not in a twin aircraft!).  But this is a different matter.

Some nice Cape Air New England flights anyone? 😎

Looks awesome! I wish though at some point they could change the 'walkaround'. It looks a bit silly you still have to get back to cockpit view to select the next item on the tablet. I prefer the way A2A has done it with the Comanche.

Do you only fly aircraft with retractable gear? (Serious question).

I mean, the real aircraft doesn't have retractable gear. It's more of a rugged, Twin Otter style commuter aircraft.

Yes, I'm talking about the real aircraft (and the simulated one too, of course). Did not expect that until I saw one video today. It's a shame (for me).

I know what you mean.   I bet it would have a much higher cruise speed if it did have retractable gear. Would be even better 😎

The P2006T has retractable gear, but a cruise speed almost 30kts less.  The P2012 looks to be a fixed gear workhorse.

I decided to pick up their P2006 today and it is absolutely amazing. So immersive and feature-rich.  Yes the drone from the Rotax's gets a bit much, but (having around 800 hours in Rotax aircraft), it's pretty realistic! I just turned down the engine sound level in settings 😆

Can'tt wait for this P2012, with it's beefier Lycoming TEO540s!

much less than you'd expect:

"The 1978 Cessna Skylane and the ’78 Skylane RG share identical airframes, .... the RG delivered 14 knots more speed. To me it seems a 21st century reworking of the Islander

Only concern with this one is the engine transition sounds in the video previews - see below. Shades of the Aerosoft Twin Otter - hopefully addressed before release...

Yes, there are a few transitions that don't sound so good, especially the sharp transition to maximum revs - it hits you like a wall of sound! 
Other than this though, I am interested, dependent on a reasonable price.

Yes, I am a fan of this size of twin so will likely pick it up after reviews. Sounds really can break the experience so hopefully those transitions are resolved for launch.

For such a slow aircraft the T/O and Landing distance is much too long - so I do not see a reasonable task for it. Tecnam is just developing a STOL Version (with a longer wingspan and less weight) - but FSS do not want to offer this STOL version as addition.
