no way to shut engines off

The aircraft came with no manual so it was initially not clear how to shut the engines OFF, after some searching I have found the online manual (the original link points to a "Page not found" URL 🤣) and it indeed describes the somewhat unusual procedure: turn ignition and fuel to OFF.

That's what happen when people jump to conclusions and call things bugs without even reading the manual. You didn't look good on that one. Also saying there was no manual when in fact there is one...

did you not read the thread from the beginning? the download did not come with a manual. and the link they provided to the online manual, which you get only AFTER you have loaded the airplane from within MSFS results in "Page not found".

even after update 1.0.1

"Potentially fixed graphical glitches on the MFD" - I wonder if this fixed the squeezed MFD causing the range rings issue.

Would like them to also add the lights to autopilot as you pointed out, but I doubt that one will ever be fixed. Hope I'm wrong though.

"Potentially", like "we don't know" 🤣

no, still the same distortion.

they are showing  newer version "v1.0.2-beta1"

but it still downloads the previous version 1.0.1, which has still the bugs mentioned earlier. there is also no changelog for v1.0.2 beta.

I guess if they haven't fixed the GPS/autopilot bug when SU14 releases next week December 5th, they will have to remove the product from the market.

Indicative of their Change and Release processes in general IMO,

Just to say that the unusual engine cut off procedure is because the Lycoming TEO-540C1As are unusual units, in that they are conventional piston engines (ie rather than TDI or high revving Rotax engines) but don't have mixture levers. They use an automatic diaphragm system, similar to that fitted to Rotax engines. In fact, as far as I know, they're the only engines in the whole Lycoming (and Continental) ranges that don't have mixture levers.   I'm not sure why but it could be to provide some commonality between the smaller Tecnam P2006 twin (which uses Rotax engines and also does not have mixture levers) and the P2012.

So the odd way of cutting the engines - ignition off - is probably true to life.

As for the rest of this release though, yes, what a mess.  I was about to buy it until I read @turbomax's post about it not being compatible with SU14beta.   With a new PC, I'm now back of SU13 stable, but I'm still certainly not buying it until all the issues and quality control is resolved.

there is another quirk I just ran into: in windowed mode with the windows desktop task bar at the bottom of the screen, if the Tecnam cockpit (G1000 buttons, dials, yoke etc.) is very close to the task bar and you hover with the mouse over any task bar icon, (here: Xbox Insider hub icon) it will get intercepted by the Tecnam as reflected by the light blue colour illumination of the yoke, similar to ASSISTANCE active. I have never seen this behaviour before in any default or 3rd party aircraft and it seems to be a bug in how they access the mouse position. how this gets intercepted by MSFS instead of the standard task bar icons is beyond me.

or if I hover over Chat TEAMS icon in the task bar, the ALT dial in the G1000 PFD gets highlighted instead.

Hopefully they can get the biggest issues fixed quickly, this could be a lot of fun for short Cape Air hops.
