Looking at the 'wishlist' and votes over at the official MSFS forums, I find that above quote very very very very hard to believe.

Lol you keep saying this, so how do you explain all the previous items on the top of those lists over the past 3 years that did get addressed?

Same way I explain the ones that don’t get addressed. They cherry pick them. Explain why they have  ignored some for 3 years?
You think I’m the only one saying/thinking this? No chance. And you know it. Not sure why you feel the need to keep addressing me. Did it ever occur to you that Asobo sometimes ‘bend the truth’ or ‘tell us what we want to hear’? You seem to take everything they say as gospel.
‘lol’.

Of course they choose from some (as opposed to *all*) of the top items on the list combined with their own priorities and dev effort/cost decisions to then work on them. What you said was "Looking at the 'wishlist' and votes over at the official MSFS forums, I find that above quote very very very very hard to believe.", which suggests they don't look at them at all, or act on them, etc.

And I don't feel a particular need to keep addressing you.. this is a discussion forum, you made a sweeping claim, I responded... I believe it was <checks notes>, you, who's harped about this very phenomenon of discussing back & forth freely before 🙄

And yes, I'll definitely take the words of MS/Asobo over disgruntled forum members angry about issues they deem important not having being looked at yet and then make sweeping statements on how MS/Asobo are actually doing development, lol. There is no "bending of truth" here, MS/Asobo said they look at the user requests list to guide their work, and the fact that they have implemented numerous top items from those lists over the past 3 years confirms that.

Checks notes? It’s a game. That’s me off outside to the real world now. Catch you later.

PS, and you know this how? Do you work for them? Or are you assuming that’s how they work?

Of course it suggests that, because they don’t act on them, hence why they’re still in a massive wish list.

Ok that’s me out, definitely this time, catch you later.

Umm that's what any sane software development house would do given a backlog of user requests, and also because that's what they've said numerous times lol.

And no sorry it doesn't mean that 🙂 , not sure why this is hard to grasp... the fact they have acted on *numerous* items on the wishlist over the past 3 years obviously means they *are* looking at them. The fact they haven't acted on *all* of them yet does not then mean they are not looking at them at all.

They look at them, they just don't act on all of them.

So, you are just assuming then? ‘lol’. They’ve never said that.

You’re a really condescending person, I noticed it with your replies to others too. Not sure if you’re aware of it or not. Anyways I’ll be blocking you now so won’t see your reply, so don’t waste your time.

There is nothing obvious about it at all, hence the reason people get so frustrated when things on that list have been IGNORED for 3 years.

That’s quite a list they can’t do anything about then.

I would love to but I am not in that field of work. Not sure how that would help the situation anyways. There are lots of things that let me down in life, I don't just go and work for them to fix it...!  Anyways this conversation is getting ridiculous now. Catch you later.

Hmm, let's see who started it 🤣😉 I do agree with you though it's frustrating a lot of bugs are still there, but suggesting Asobo doesn't look at that wishlist at all is not quite fair.

I’m actually quite alright if the things they prioritize and act on aren’t those with the most votes.  Popularity does not necessarily equal importance or strategic value.
