Welcome to Leeds Bradford Airport v2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator, nestled in the beautiful English countryside. Previously known as Leeds and Bradford Municipal Aerodrome or Yeadon Aerodrome, EGNM airport offers breath taking views from your cockpit on final approach, as it’s surrounded by green fields and a small town.

The airport is the ideal place to travel in the North of England because it welcomes a variety of airlines and aircraft types on a daily basis. Since Doncaster Sheffield Airport closed in November 2022, the airport has seen an increase in traffic as most of its flights were rerouted to EGNM, adding new routes to destinations in Romania and Poland and drawing in more travellers.

Explore Europe and beyond from this traditional English regional airport, brimming with unique characteristics and details.

EGNM for MSFS v2 comes with an updated set of features to ensure a greater flight experience including:

Key Features:

  • Up to date 2023 airport layout
  • Fully re-worked PBR ground poly
  • Accurately placed custom lighting with realistic color temperatures
  • LOD (Level of Detail) optimisations throughout to ensure best performance
  • Animated custom jetways
  • Highly detailed ATC tower interior with animated air traffic controllers
  • New detailed drop off area
  • Detailed walkway interior with realistic signage and night lighting
  • New baggage facility extension
  • Custom stop bars with on and off functionality based on distance
  • Custom runway guard lights (wigwags)
  • Hand placed animated horses
  • Detailed spotting area west of runway 14
  • Updated bendy busses, fuel station, barriers, signage, fences and awnings

Nice little airport to start sort UK flights up to Scotland, across the Pennines or down to the South.  If you have v1, the upgrade is a no brainer.

10 bucks Australian if you have the original - looks good as well - even makes Yorkshire look good

I am certainly interested in it, but the P3D version of this airport was a big disappointment, so this one is going to have to be significantly better.

Can't remember the creators offhand, but there are a decent freeware Leeds and a Bradford photoscenery on flightsim.to to compliment this airport nicely.

Unfortunately there's only Leeds East (EGCM) on flightsim.to ... although it is a very fine piece of work!

You are looking for airports and not scenery. I use the Leeds and Bradford ones which create photogrammic scenery for both cities.

EGCM or RAF Church Fenton by Vortex_SD is very good.

Bradford by thalixte and Leeds by Jepperson2001 are the two I was referring to.

It is. With much better performance too.

I agree P3D wasn't great

Anyone having issues with Ai traffic ?

Doesn't appear to be much airport actuvity, or do I need to crank it up to max, which wouldn't be great for other, bigger airports... ?

Looks like the EGNM V2 hasn't made it on to the Marketplace yet so those of us that bought V1 on the marketplace will have to wait to get our (hopefully) discounted upgrade to V2. At least I assume that is what OrbX will be doing.

FYI, the original Leeds Bradford is an available product to acquiring by redeeming ORBS (ORBX loyalty points), it requires 300.  I did that, and by doing so qualified for the large discount on V2 without ever actually paying money for V1.

I don’t see what you’re seeing.  I went to do the same based upon your comment and I see V1 at $18.26 AUD.  Below that is V2 at $7.35 AUD.  Does it come cheaper than that?  Otherwise, why bother and Im sure you had a reason?  Just went on sale perhaps (today)?

I hope you will reply because I don’t want two Brasford’s if I don’t have to.  Regardless, thanks for the tip!
