But hey start P3D/FSX up and download the 2d clouds and AS 😉 André
November 10, 20241 yr Has hifi fixed the fps drop flying through dense clouds? Storm. I am getting some pauses and fps drop flying through it. Clouds on ultra on high end system. Never had an issue with. Msfs live weather. Thanks Mike
November 10, 20241 yr Works fine here. No fps drops when I monitor vram and fps on 3080ti. Maurice J I9 12900k \ EVGA 3080ti \ G-Skill 32GB \ Samsung 4K TV

February 1, 20251 yr I have been flying these days in 2024 with bad weather in the Iberian Peninsula and I have noticed that the turbulence remains the same as in 2020. It is not normal to go through a storm cloud with a cessna 172 and that it is absolutely the same. How does this addon behave with turbulence in general or should I buy realturb?

As @Cpt_Piett answered above, start with the inexpensive RealTurb v2, and keep default weather for a start. You can later add ActiveSky. You will get nice turb effects under various conditions, although NOT like in XP12. My POV regarding this is that IRL I wouldn't risk crossing a CB anyway, so... 🙂 Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
February 2, 20251 yr I have tried the realturb demo and it is an improvement overall, with active Sky would it improve more then or in turbulence issues do they overlap ?

They overlap except for terrain turbulence which AS does not have For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
