BeyondATC Released (EA)

Featured Replies

Sorry if this is mentioned in the 35 pages here, but is there a way to set it to play the ATC comms via my headphones, but leave the aircraft sounds etc via my speakers. I can't fathom it - I've changed the comms device in MSFS settings to the headset but that hasn't made a difference - albeit it was while flying with Beyond ATC running already.

Thanks,

Ian.

You guys must have all missed the part where the dev put it to a vote and the majority asked them to release early. Several of us said yes, release early but just be prepared for the dogpile of people

Greetings all, I just wanted to drop a few things after scrolling through this thread😁. When I'm not slipping the surly bonds, I do my secondary job as a product manager doing software development int

Use the sound mixer in windows to do this. Radio comes from the BATC program, set that to headphone output. Game sound stays on speakers.

Can't you choose the output device in the BATC settings?

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

This worked thank you!

No, just input. But the above did the trick!

Is working but you have to do that every time you launch the program at least on my system I need to cycle sources.

I wonder how the program decides what parking is appropriate for your aircraft. I flew SAS31B into Dublin, it parked at 109R IRL, which does exist in the scenery as a ramp, but ATC said it wasn't appropriate for my aircraft. I checked the parking size in LNM, and the space is big enough for a Neo.

I checked both the FBW and livery aircraft.cfg and they both have 'ramp' under parking types.

As of the most recent update they're using a database of aircraft wingspans manually coded in to determine what is an acceptable parking spot.

- Use a lookup table for aircraft metadata rather than relying on the sim to return correct data regarding aircraft wingspan etc

Yes, all of us. They've just restarted the servers, should be online again in about 10 mins (source: Discord)

Still down, problem is bigger, they keep working on it.

Has anyone done a flight with BATC and TFDi MD-11? I’m unable to have the radios auto tune. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong?

The Md11 is out? Or are you in the testing team? BATC will probably get around it when it's actually released.

Servers are back online, BUT depending on where you live it can take up to 24 hours (worst case) until it works again for you.
