New Nvidia Driver 552.44

Featured Replies

Anyone tried it yet?  Looks like another driver that will have no benefit to MSFS as far as I can see from the release notes.

actually seems to potenitally be helping with the ghosting with DX12 and DLSS but could be placebo.  No downside, colors look a tad brighter.

Don't think he is saying he has issues running it, think he means no benefit, or update that is geared for MSFS.

Does any have any benefit? I hardly see any.....

I had some stuttering when changing views.  I turned off frame generation and its all good again.

Not sure if it was the driver or what.

All good for now.

I noticed things are a bit snappier for me.  Jk 😜

Looks good to download then.  Thanks for your feedback.

Edit.  Installed and works fine.  No drawbacks noted.  Using AutoFPS and framegen on RTX3080.

I didn’t intend to install it, as I saw nothing in the release notes that would possibly benefit the sim. But I installed anyway 🤷🏻‍♂️ I’ve not noticed any changes.

Also checked both nvidia github and techpowerup for any DLSS updates. 3.7 still seems to be most recent.

Tried 3.5.1, 3.6 and 3.7 but the one that still seems to work best for me is 3.5.

Not sure why msfs still uses 2.4 by default - Maybe they found that to be more stable - from nemory it provided slightly better visuals at the expense of a little performance.
